140727 Sentosa Play Pass

so from the last time we went to my dad's company anniversary, we had some remaining tickets to play around sentosa. i hung out with my mom, aunt, alison and my little cousin. odd combination, but so interesting!

we visited the butterfly and insects kingdom. look at how harmoniously the 2 is staying together. the parrot bites btw.

and uh, it seems i didn't take any insect/butterfly photos cos i counted on yingxuan my little cousin to take them and never received them from her again T_T

we went on all the 3D rides. it was good! in the cowboy game i was even the top winner. last time i played it in korea i scored so little points for it. huh.

the most interesting was this kart like ride. we had to queue for quite long though.

you drive the whole track and eventually you're hauled back via the cable cars.

went atop this tiger beer tower also to look at the scenery.

and last stop was at the local museum. quick 5 min show at the front with some talking portraits. then a museum with a lot of wax figures to show the local lifestyle.

the highlight was the selfie with johnny depp!!

and because the play pass included cable cars to harbour front we took it anyway. if you buy the rides alone it's like $28 per person - so why not!? see how cool the superhero cars are?

except they are non-aircon inside T_T bleah.

so we took over to harbourfront to have desserts then took the cable car back to sentosa and rode home in alison's car.

fun day! heh.

140724 Swatch Sistem51

so i went for the swatch sistem51 launch event. look at the pretty watches! although i most definitely would prefer if the back mechanics were half on the front area.

so anyway the event was at orchard central and darn, i think i was too concentrated on taking food pics T_T so i gotta kope photos from all over now.

there's the normal commemorative photo taking

and there's also a cocktail bar with pretty nice alcohol

there's even a booth for you to print words onto the eco bag they've given you - how cool is that!

and not forgetting the food served - so nice~~!!

this mushroom pie thing is really good.

after we got enough food and had a good look around we headed back. it's nice to have a self-customised bag as a souvenir too~!

Annie Leonhart SnK WIP

so annie is a titan in snk. whoever didn't watch, sorry for the spoiler!

i love that her last name is leonhart, wife of squall leonhart. haha! she's almost like the female version of squall, except when she goes loony titanish with that maniacal face.

ok i basically didn't do much for this character. CSL was replicating a lot of shingeki's 3D gear and 00 asked if i wanted an extra set, so i said yes and joined SMLJ's team for Annie, one of my favourite character from the series.

As our team debuted on AFA, the gear that was worn was in a battered state so i had to fix the parts again. and i realised 00 took the blades back home, and so my only handmade item is the blade...!

carved from wire cover and spray painted. the carvings were a pain in the ass cos i kept cutting myself accidentally. but spraying is easy~

oh, and i made the skirt wrap too and altered the jacket to a smaller size. the rest were all taobao-ed. awesome taobao~!

VI LoL WIP

so mr k thinks that this girl will fit me. whaddya think..!? vi's profile

i basically only took ref from these 2 pictures. the first is a concept art and the second the actual in game character. the colors for the armour is a deviation from jayce's armour as 00 wanted to make them a couple.

so i was tasked to do up the cloth parts - namely the jacket, corset as well as the wigs while mr k finishes the armour parts. not too hard~ here's the jacket!

and the badge! i used pvc to cut as well as foam, but painting didn't work out too well. pvc cut was better but looked so flimsy...

and the little winged brooch was made outta foam

and sprayed colored brown with gold tints

jacket done! had to extend the connecting strip as i realised it's a diagonal strap.

here's the corset. i particularly like this corset. yeahhhh.

and attaching the bottom belts

then moving on to the little flares on the skirt part. which i lined with gold trimmings and it went out of shape =_= so i had to redo

and the completed corset!

and the styling of the wig. i actually picked this lost wig during acm. it was in a tangled state so i just gave it a good wash.

but i styled it the wrong way.. arghhhh!!! in the end i had to recut it in korea.

i even shaved my hair on the wrong side. so dumb =_= so ended up shaving both sides. bleah. thank goodness i can still cover the shaved patch with normal hair.

tried doing the dreadlocks but it looked terrible

decided i will stick to picture #2 for the wavy extensions instead. hur.

here's the neck collar too. simple.

i tried to paint the stripes on the leggings as well...

but in the end i just used a ready bought one, since i found it on carousell. hoho.
