the next day we went to odaiba!
while looking for the yurikamome, we saw karasumori. ooh! i wonder if the kekkaishis are near.
we took the yurikamome there, and for unlimited trips we paid 900yen. i think you can get it for 800yen but i just don't know where.
from yurikamome, you can see a lot of pretty scenic stuff.
think this is the rainbow bridge
our first stop was the palette town.
straight up ahead was some toyota car show so we went in to sit in the cars and take pictures. heh.
so if you like cars, here's lots of car pictures for ya.
and some of the cuter cars
and the stylo cars
hoho me on convertible! we all took photos with the same car.
formula cars
i tried the ride stimulator but i kept crashing. oh well. i'm not cut out for driving.
crepe car.
nah we just ate there.
it's quite pathetic, just slices of cheese, a piece of vege and ham. got cheated.
and we took purikura!
palette town is like a kids' shopping haven.
errr and for dogs too
those were actually the basement of venus fort. the upper levels were prettier.
ooh and this is a pretty unique shoe shop.
and an arcade/casino den
monopoly?
denzyl tried the chocolate UFO machine...
but failed.
oh well.
there's a barbie shop here too.
and a ferris wheel on top.
we then stopped at aqua city
and saw the statue of liberty! (the smaller one, of cos)
got hungry again, and bought a fried potato curry bun.
finally it's time for lunch. so we went to a place with lotsa ramen shops.
and picked this store.
food, glorious food!
it was all meat so we kinda died of pork poisoning. but oh well.
and the odaiba journey continues. saw some caricature artists. sis was impressed, but i'm broke.
wakled down the good ol' american days alley
and then we went to the next stop: edo onsen
it costs like over 2000yen to get in so we just looked from the outside (;_;)
by then, we were kinda going crazy.
but we managed to get to this expo-like place which holds lots of different exhibitions. the pathway there is like inside an airport - so long.
after that, we went to a little hongkong
a lone egg?
near it was the muscle park. it's sort of like an exercising stadium theme park, you have to buy tickets to play the games and tickets average 700yen+ each.
sasuke! heard it's the hardest game around.
ooooh the food looks great
then we went to a little alley place that has a lot of neat stuff. can't remember the name.
and i bought sweets at 100g for 200yen i think. since i've wanted to try the paradise kiss sweets.
we also played this hard gay-like poke-knives game
but it seems he didn't pop out when it was game over for us. sucker.
and it was time to go. the night view was spectacular, especially the bridge. now it's finally rainbow-like.
before we left, gotta have our dinner. it was raining and we were walking down ginza but there was no good food in sight. in the end, we went to this tengu izakaya.
sis' ichigo milkshake
my house wine
denzyl's plum drink?
steak
yakisoba
mochi cheese
pizza
with that, dinner was settled and it was time to collect our bags and board the night bus to kyoto!
