and then, i tried to thin the bulging areas for my bonesword and repainted those before i left the house for work in the morning.

happened to be repairing my bone sword on sunday too. carved a completely new one out of maomao's blue foam.



and sanded it with big particled paper. had a furry effect after that.



damn sian. it's so hard to shave somemore. needs lots of patience. perhaps i won't do him after all. (-_-`)

i redid my kimimaro pants over the weekend. it was like a spur of the moment thing, when i have near to nothing to do and too much black cloth lying around. lols. at least it's now longer, so more ready for a 2nd naruto shoot coming up xD

i'm practicing the stretchy thing so much too haha.

OHHh hahahah this is so fun.
had a photoshoot on saturday for naruto and i was doing kimimaro. i picked this cos it's my favourite pose/angle etc, but my wig sucked and this hair was in my way. so this is the original photo



i removed the stray strand of hair and added the logo



then of cos... the lighting is bad so i looked dark. (i had super thick foundation meant to make me white... and still!) and kimimaro is supposed to be white. so i replaced the color.. and ta-da!



yay! gotta love photoshop.

bought this white wig from one of the tw websites through a spree and managed to cut it over the weekend.

it looks kinda thin from the site, but i didn't know it would be so thin. balding scalp. sighs.

but at least it still looks decent after i gave it a cut. this photo makes it look good for some reason. doesn't look as good when worn though.

kudos to my sister for being my wig model. :D i do so want to post her wearing the wig here but i think she'll kill me.

i love mondays because i get to go home early. so i had some time to work on my kimimaro pants. with only the wig problem left, i'll be able to go for the photoshoot on 21st :D



and this bone sword i made quite some time ago. paper rolled up, with sponge around the tsuba-bobbed area, then white spray paint. accidentally deleted the full-length picture. oh well.



the tapes peeling are a bit obvious. we'll see what else can be done to improve... maybe more tapes??? (-_-`)

and the purple ribbon. initially stuck sponge and wiring, then corrugated board but it doesn't stand upright and looks very messy and slouchy (i wonder if you can use that to describe a ribbon). then i bought these thick wires for $5+ a roll at artfriend and it works perfectly. can stand upright now! and has the shape i want. :D



now i only need an abandoned black pants (donations, any?) and his bone sword.

will be joining the naruto group for eoy and photoshoot so i've decided to do kimimaro since orochmaru was taken. yes... i like these 2 guys in naruto xp
