Day 1 - Arrival at Everland
oh gosh our flight was full of funny events, first we saw this extremely big sized guy whom frank claims doesn't want to eat because he couldn't put the tray down

Photobucket

but after that he seems to prove us wrong!

Photobucket

being too bored, we camwhored with val

Photobucket

Photobucket

the food wasn't that great... this was dinner

Photobucket

and this was breakfast before we landed

Photobucket

when we queued to check out, this vietnamese auntie kept sticking to my back - as if someone's gonna cut her queue. URGHH we tried various means to let her know shes standing too near, like i would accidentally step back on her, or frank would scare me and i'd bang into her, or i'd just keep turning back to look at her but she didn't get it!! GOSH. so i ended up being 'molested' by her many times.

Photobucket

and then the young vietnamese girl cut our queue and took her shoes off while she was queuing... all these viets drove me nuts.

finally arrived at incheon for 1.5 hours later than scheduled because of the very long queue while checking out. Yong jin and arsene-San were already waiting for us since 7 so it was kind of embarrassing we underestimated the hours for so long. Arsene-San also treated us to lunch, and he took about 4 hours to drive us over because the jam was just too horrifying... (takes 1 hour normally)

halfway there arsene-san treated us to lunch!!!
jajangmyeong rocks...

Photobucket

Arrived at everland with pretty much nothing to do, but I was very happy to see saerom!! She was dressed as Halloween rikku an her partner, Seulgi, was dressed as halloween Paine. Seulgi is seriously thin... In a good way! Her stomach is straight flat *envious*

Photobucket

Photobucket

We were told that some Korean stars were supposed to come at 3, so me, saerom, Seulgi and Val went to wait at the rehearsal area. We managed to see lee dong gun and Andy from shinhwa, but I didn't really know them and my main reason was Kim nam Gil. What was scary was the Line of fans waiting to see their idols were all obasan from japan. Wow. so more photos.

Photobucket

Photobucket

we were so bored saerom suggested playing with her 'which stars do you look like' application - guess who i looked like?~?~?~

Photobucket

We waited for more than half an hour and as Seulgi and saerom had been complying since the morning, their legs were aching so we went back for a short rest. I later realized that even kim nam Gil didn't come at the end... Oh well... T_T we did do some interesting things in the room though while seulgi and saerom changed to their rehearsal costumes...

Photobucket

met lee-san and he 'totally forgot' who i am. so now he calls me 'tanaka-san'. so badddddd i'm gonna haunt him with the bumseonlee song.

At night about 8 when almost all the participants arrived there was a rehearsal taking place. I was, however, taken on a small side trip where I was supposedly able to see 'magic'. Although the magic wasn't quite what I had expected, it wasn't that bad in the end and I think I might have experienced something better than the rehearsals. =X

When we went back I was surprised to see the rest of the karas team!! HELLO HUGS PLEASE! I miss all of you guys!! Rain (jungu), 0(seungyong), ms (Myungseon). I can't believe I'm gonna be performing with such an awesome team!! Still can't believe it even now. Ww. So that was when I started my first rehearsal all the way to about 2am. There was a bit of difficulty in communicating the timing and actions, and Yong jin helped save the day! For our first full rehearsal i got everything wrong (duh) and they realized I need more drilling 。・゜・(ノД`)・゜・。 so we went out and rain and 0 Drilled the whole timing into me and forced me to listen to the mp3 over and over again. My actions were still considered pretty relaxed, it's ms and rain who had to do like 20,000 flips when we repeated the practice over and over again - whoops. During practice, I also got to know jimin, white karas, who created his famous 'why' expression 囧rz. Ooh, I got to try fanta during one of our breaks - jelly orange fizzy drink, very nice! 0 seems to like pudding, when he heard there was jelly he got one for himself too. Yong jin tried this sparkling chocolate, not so bad :D
Around 1-2am I had to 偷懒for a while and help a friend, when I came back rain was 'Oye practice!'-ing me already, meanie... 디가니가!

did these pictures via scrapblog.com actually... heehee very interesting right?

After we were done with the last few rounds, we gathered around to have a mini drinking session with the wcf staff (manyong, lopez, Yong jin, Hyun jin), monster hunter and persona team (we were the only ones still practicing) and they all loved the bakwa We brought. More for you guys next time! ♥

my little brown extension that i ordered from taobao arrived, but i didn't use it because it wasn't very brown at all. instead i used one of the existing browner extensions i owned and sewed it on the doll.

i shall cut the hair later. it kinda creeps me out now though. hmmm... maybe she wants to keep the hair long...? don't know why i'm reminded of dong li huo che when i see her...

Photobucket
and then over the weekends i chionged on yurine...

managed to cut her wig on sat - see the before and after!

Photobucket

back comb + hairspray ftw. i even got into trouble with my mom because i left hair fibres all over my living room. oops. one mistake to not commit for cosplaying - making a mess and not cleaning up, because it inconveniences others. even knowing that, my cleaning is never clean enough for my mom. oh well.

i feel so sian when i finished one and know that there was another side that i need to cut.

Photobucket

and when i finally finished both sides, i tied on the long extensions and clipped the ponytails on the main wig to see how it would look like:

Photobucket

not bad! reminds me of when cutepetz did her shugo chara character... and stella's rachel from blazblue. quite similar style no?

i also bought a permanent marker and drew on the eyes for her goggles. had to trace it from my pc screen first.

Photobucket

blue paint was found from some colored glue, and white paint was correction liquid. lol.

Photobucket

then i pasted it on the inside of the goggles to complete the prop.

Photobucket

then on sunday i worked on the freaking skirt. UGHHHH i hate the skirt!!! i made so many mistakes and it took me a much longer time to make it.

#1 cutting from a thin cloth
#2 worked on the thin cloth and tried to iron it
#3 pleated and sewed on the wrong cloth and had to unsew and pleat and sew again
#4 bought another thicker cloth to work on and pleated and sewed it on both ends
#5 undid one end of the sew because i needed to paste the red ribbons on it

Photobucket

#6 undid the other end of the sew because i needed to input the brown parts

Photobucket

#7 resewed both ends and realised i should use the thin piece as skirt lining so i undid one end of the sew and sewed on the thin layer
#8 thin layer was too long in width, had to cut it away and also in height - folded it in and sewed on. uhu glued all the yellow parts to cover the sides of the brown so it won't flail uglily when i wear it.

Photobucket

#9 sewed a hidden zip for the outer layer and realised i sewed the zipper on the wrong side!!! resewed this side
#10 sewed the other side for the zipper and realised my red ribbons didn't get folded in nicely, and my right side was longer than my left side!!! untacked and resewed
#11 sewed on a hook and realised i measured the distance wrongly, so i sewed on 2 hooks =.= lazy to remove the wrong one...

and then it's finally done... gosh... tedious. never knew this simple skirt can cause me so much trouble zzzz

Photobucket
14th oct
worked on val's present.. the cloak for little busters!

Photobucket

Photobucket

too moe for my liking *shivers*

here's the 2 separate parts

Photobucket

cut the purple lining and ironed them to use as borders. cut too much oh well.

Photobucket

made some errors along the way as i realised her collar area didn't have the purple outline. had to restitch.

Photobucket

glad it fits well on her in the end! yay!

it's friday and there's about 15 mins left till i knock off and i already can't wait!!!
don't feel like working already =.=

and looking at the czech account i'm already feeling pretty dizzy from the accented alphabets. gosh. how i wish i could read them T.T

and so i'm writing an entry here hurhur.

there's only a week left till we pop over to korea! exciting!! i'm trying to finish up all that i have left to do (wig styling, prop repairing...) and i'm collecting my wig-to-be-styled and shoes later on from the tb guy. he's so super duper fast, the stuff came in less than 2 weeks!! so if you have anything you want from taobao.com, be sure to get your stuff through him.

ok laters!

updates!
worked on her inner top, which is a turtleneck. so i made it a bareback turtleneck so i wouldn't be too hot in it with the leather jacket over me...

Photobucket

i have an ugly grey zip on the side cos that's the only zip i had that fitted haahah

Photobucket

here's the leg part to be attached to the boots or the bottom of the pants, secured with velcro.

Photobucket

used the same material for the pleated skirt as well.. gonna do the patterns sometime this week...'

Photobucket

progress for her goggles!

i just cut out the side pieces and stuck them on with BONDO!

Photobucket

Photobucket

same for the big zip, cut from foam, stuck pvc over it using BONDO. bondo rocks...

Photobucket

completed the pants yesterday too. stupid stretchy materials... i had to wear it first, then put the foam rings over it, secure with thread (poked myself many times in the process, i might as well sew myself to it). then cut the pvc rings to stick over them. finally i cut a hole in the middle (just a tad smaller than the ring so the material gets stretched to the ring size)

Photobucket

Photobucket

have to hotglue the pvc on so it's more stable. heh. also cos i was running out of bondo. T.T

Photobucket

yay-hay~~ but still i don't hear from you. what do i do...!??!?!? T.T

What would you taste like to a cannibal?

Created by Recipe Star

in the early days of this week i worked on the crest for richard too.

cutting out the template for the flare using lining bases... i realised this part is actually not that necessary because i was gonna cut the same thing out of the blue piece as well =.=||| but i still stuck this thing on at the back just for the heck of it.

i put the jacket cut out underneath as a reference for the size.

Photobucket
after cutting the blue base, i cut the same thing for the peach lining, whilst cutting out all the middle parts.

Photobucket

i then paste this peach lining over the blue satin, which is overall pasted on the white base (not needed) so that they are fixed in place and easier to sew on later on. i used bondo glue! hell yeah!!

then after it's stuck on, just sew along while folding the outer parts in... tedious... and i ended up getting a bit the unbalanced crest, but oh well!!! don't think it's that visible once i have my collar scarf covering it... i hope...!!

Photobucket

i
so since i have leftover leather cloth, i used up exactly 1m to make the jacket and went to buy all the bias tape and zip during lunch hours.

this time i used the 'tube' kind of bias tape for all the red linings since i need to put it between 2 cloths.

Photobucket

after lining them, i joined all the pieces together. leather is very easy to work with cos i don't need to seam them! and it doesn't get out of shape easily unlike those flimsy cloth.

Photobucket

i put a satin backing for the collar but i underestimated the length. oh well. not visible from the outside anyway. it's a pain trying to put the bias tape and sew it together with the leather and the satin. i kept missing the stitches and had to unstitch and restitch to join the cloths together. think i took about an hour plus unstitching them. (and i sewed the wrong side of the sleeves too, so had to unstitch there too urghhhhh)

Photobucket

i then cut the 2 slots above the chest part to sew in the concealed grey zips. wanted to put silver pvc over them but i think it looks good as it is. (and i was too lazy) i was also too lazy to put pockets behind them. well, not that i'm gonna try to put things into my chest area... >.<

Photobucket

so here is the jacket, done in 2 days!! i lovvvvvvvvvvvve it. need to put on the ring parts though! my sister says i actually have something wearable for once... hurhur...

Photobucket
yay-hay! new project for korea trip! gotta chiong...

Photobucket

Photobucket

another kiddy character for me... hahahha. thank goodness her personality is the cool type. hurhur. no moe faces...

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

i must be dumb to reject them making the costume. zzz. yay! looking forward to the performance!!

my colleague is leaving, and i have about 5-6 projects on hand. so why can i still leave on the dot?

well, none of them have actually started officially. everybody's just saying... yes i agree, but no one is giving he proper signed work to let us begin officially. i wonder what we have to start at all. i hope everything don't come all at once. i'm gonna drown if it does.

and i have so little time, with so many things i want to do. i do not have time to worry about you. yet, when i look at the list of contacts, i just automatically expand my last category and look at a particular word. ARGHHHH. it's driving me crazy. and i know EXACTLY how this will turn out. BAD, BAD, BAD. if only i was as cold as blanc neige.

-bangs wall-
-stabs self-
managed to start on richard's inner top (since it's the easiest, and it was the only template i brought in). i made it collarless and sleeveless since there's no pictures of the standalone top i could find online, and the zip is only in the middle. leaves me room to breathe on top, and more cooling when it's sleeveless. hee hee.

Photobucket

oh it's black borders around the collar area since i was too lazy to cut off the black seams... so i sort of sewed all the way to the other side as well. wheeps.
for the chain on grell's specs... was beading them together while watching kaichou wa maido sama. now i just need to wait for my earphones to spoil... then i can put the skulls in. and where to find the funny shaped glasses he has?!

Photobucket
argh.. i should stop taking up projects... but it's just so tempting..., not to mention i might as well make the purchase since i was going to malaysia over the weekend for cloth shopping. hahah. so yes, i've taken this half-armoured booby sexy character.

i detest monthly meetings. for one, they start at 430, and you know it's gonna last for more than 2 hours, so it will definitely eat into overtime.

we also have to prepare a slide or 2 on our project updates, and i freaking do not need to know what others have for their projects. what does it matter to me? the more you know, the more you have to do. i would rather remain clueless.

and today i have the damn topic on innovations, which i spent about a day researching for the appropriate topic with my partner. the idea we have was readily shot down (no surprise, i really suck at researching), but i couldn't be bothered to find out any further because it's just a freaking waste of my time. i ended up reading oatmeal more than anything.

i particularly do not mind if the meetings stretch today though, since we were gonna have a farewell dinner for our colleague. however, the event seems to be 630pm-1030pm. and that's such an awfully long dinner...

well, what does it matter when the very same day just gets worse and worse from year to year? what does it matter if everything else seems to be a bigger priority? when everything you know, just doesn't happen anymore, and everyone you wanted to, just do not remember anymore?
the more wishes i get, the more frustrated i become.
i hate this day.

and i hate it even more because i wish you'd remember.
