151205 Mabinogi Heroes Concert

pretty exciting for my first commissioned event in korea! it was the launch of mabinogi brand shop at hyundai dept store, and there was some really long queue going on before we reached, for people who wish to purchase the art book. i've never seen such crazy queues. but anyway, completed my make up there in less than 30mins...

so there was 6 of us cosplaying there - hegi, lethita, the 2 vellas, arisha and rin. hegi was done by a professional male model while rin was done by this girl from Cotton Candy group. the rest of us are from CSL - lumen, eki, pion and me.

we started standing around since 1030am... and only finished off 8pm. omg. it was so tiring having to juggle between 15mins break and 45mins posing... my eyes were drying from all the photography flashes. thank goodness we have a short lunch break in between... the food is so niceeee yummm.

me and pion was a team and sometimes rin will join us. love these photos taken by hyun bin! and eki's processing... don't know what she did to my face but it looks nice hahahah.

and then it's off to have dinner... change out!! we went to have korean buffet (gyejeol papsang). honestly i didn't really have much appetite after a long day... esp since it was already 10pm when we got there. but not to waste the money for buffet... i stuffed some stuff in anyway T_T

 

and then it was time to zonk off.....................

150715 Arisha Shoot

it's mid month and we've finally gotten the things done for arisha~

found a random wig in the office and cut/styled it for arisha. it's too bad the ahoge can't really be seen with the hood T_T

and some finishing touches for the shoes. whee. i quite like this pair!

and then time for make up and preparation~

no, arisha is not supposed to look cute in the left photo. bleah. and i realised my make up might have been too light for the night shoot. bleahs.. anyhow managed to get at least an awesome pic still!!

and then it's off to dinner at a pubhouse. mamee for appetizer~ and i still wonder if they could be cooked as ramen...

150711-13 Yongin

Next 2 days was as per normal - breakfast at home, working on cosplay stuff, then going to dance. ohh, we also spent like 15-20mins everyday catching millipedes in the office as there was suddenly a whole lot of them migrating in...

i think we caught like 30 in 15mins. ew.
i was afraid we might step on them since there's so much rubbish around and you can't distinguish insects from props and rubbish. so i made a masking tape and plastic wrap room shoe.

then i decided to upgrade it with LV wrapping. and it comes with a bag. haha.

had udon before dance lesson on friday...

had kimchi stew on sunday...

and managed to complete some arisha accessories

also masking taped the sword for painting

finished the collar for VP

as well as the dangling belt on her left

our progress is really slow... T_T

150629-30 Yongin

woke up to a home-cooked breakfast~ prepared by dear namchin

well he whipped up the eggs and the sausage - the rest was either heated up/microwaved or pre-prepared. hahahah. still, i had an awesome meal.

not much went on today, most of the time was spent in the office. went down to the traders emart for dinner, and shopped around. there was a lot of test-eating which kyungmin referred to as 'matsuri' because you get to eat so many kinds of food for free. hurhur. so we went around to eat all of them. the place was built like a warehouse and the concept is similar to ikea. at the end of your shopping you can eat at their cafe, which sells delicious pasta/pizza at incredibly cheap prices (a whole pizza that's like b3 size in length for 14,800 won and baked pasta for 5000+ won.

after the dinner fest, we went back and worked a little. managed to finish the bag on the thigh of arisha's.

round 10pm, we watched mad max at namchin's theatre room. crazy show. slept right after... needed to wake early the next day!

30 Jul

and so we had to set off early cos namchin had all these 2nd hand deals for his virtual gear oculus and the photo printer. so we went to digital media city, then another place (can't remember where) before our final stop at dong dae mon for cloth shopping. needed to get cloth for valkyrie profile, and finally settled on this thick blue pvc at 11,000 won per yard. ughhh so expensive... also bought some buckles for arisha's skirt belt.

it was pretty hard to move around with all the cloth, so we decided to cut the trip short and head home. saw these huge line figures just outside doota mall.

since there was a straight bus home from myeongdong, we went over there and found korean buffet~ wheeee~~ lunch buffet at 12,900 won. and the best kind of buffet you can ever have at such a price~~

and there's my favourite ice persimmons at the bottom too. what luck!

headed home around 5pm, and finished off arisha's skirt (by attaching the belts and the buckles we got)
