161001 Wangsimni

oh yay! we're going into town!
that's because today's a special day. ^_^

had breakfast at dunkin before heading out. this is like one of their new menu so we tried it out.

we then headed for jongno first via bus, where i get my regular dose of shopping at my favourite stall. then we took a train to the near wangsimni, where we bought screen protector for my birthday laptop. stopped by a convenience store along the way and discovered a really cute drink!

there's 3 flavours - coffee, choco and corn. bought corn and it was said to be the most popular flavour. when the cashier rang up the sale, the minions song played as well! how cute!

we then walked to the screen protector store and after some deliberation decided to get full protector (front, inside, screen) for almost 60k won. we took almost 1 hr to wait for the person to help paste everything on. the queue was growing crazy and in the end we only managed to paste for my laptop. 00 was too embarrassed to continue for his.. which i didn't really quite get. oh well! oh, the store was also selling iron man figurines which double up as car fragrance...!

we then headed over to the shopping mall.

the underground shopping mall is pretty unique. the indoor decor had different kinds of design on the ceilings and the whole place felt pretty venice and victorian like.

since it was halloween, there were models walking around in costumes! i thought this looked pretty cool, her make up was really like a plastic model!

there's no pokemon go here, but there's still pokemon donuts.

we had a quick meal at the food court, sharing one huge cold noodles.

then we passed by this chicken store and decided to have some.

upon exiting the place, there's a huge graffiti wall as well.

after that we headed over to myeongdong to meet up with pion and ark, who were collecting costumes for the photoshoot on the next day. had chicago pizza!! cheesy!!!

ordered cheesy bulgogi as well.

we finished off with some cosmetic shopping at myeongdong, then rested at osulloc. my green tea tiramisu cake for the day. haha. and that yuzu matcha is very refreshing. ark bought it but we swapped out ice cream match with his as ours was too overkill on the matcha. hehe.

pion got the green tea spread for me as well. yum! and luckily, mr gold was also on the way back to yongin so he picked us up at gangnam and we got a car ride home. wheeee~

150109 Vice Club

so i got dragged to clubbing after a birthday meal with XM. figured since i didn't spend bday with her nowadays, i should just dedicate my weekend to reminiscing the good old days. 00 is right in a way, if you don't do something weird/extreme once in a while, it's really hard to remember what you spent your time on.

we had dinner at illuma's yayoiken then went to catch the Hobbit. after the 2.5hrs show, we trolled around with some trick-eye paintings located at the top floor. haha!

we then moved over to clarke quay for vice since we could go in on the guestlist. wheee~
since i didn't bring any make up with me, had to use xm's stash. selfies!

i think the most amazing thing i saw that night was the champagne fireworks. they come when someone orders a bunch of 10 bottles for $1400. and they came in 3 times... woah. these people...

we partied till about 3 plus, then left for another club at raffles. i was too sleepy and we had to head home 4-5ish.

it was another episode at xm's place as there was a black-out and her family kept entering her room to check. i was bathing in the dark and my friend was knocked out in a funny state. she might kill me if i blog all these out so...

we still woke up 11ish for brunch with cheryl and her bf. long time no see~~~ ate at this modern like cafe selling fusion asian/western food.. food was great, albeit too oily. but i wouldn't recommend the drinks. tasteless!

the cubelike thing for espresso is quite cute though.. you pour milk in to melt the espresso cubes and drink them.

believe it or not, we continued eating at bukit timah market after this. hahah! also played around with the selfie sticks cheryl bought. $7 only, so cheap! so me and xm bought from cheryl.. lol.

then we decided to catch a movie at causeway point - the seventh son. having friends who drove around is awesome. i went home quickly to change after being in my previous day's clothes for almost 2 days, then we came out just in time for the 5pm movie. it was ok, not too wow but an OK movie to pass time. dinner ended up at rebecca's house cos she was making chicken rice with her husband.

it was a pretty fulfilling weekend catching up with my friends of over 15 years...!!!

141225 CSL Xmas

so... we were supposed to eat at gyeojeol babsang (that glorious korean buffet) at avenue france. but when we got our queue number there was like 200 people in front of us and we had to wait for at least 3-4hrs. so, we sort of gave up and just ate at another korean restaurant instead.

bad choice.

i commented that the soup they gave is only half-filled, has someone eaten the other half? the prices were all above 10,000 won. expensive, little in quantity and the taste is just so-so. or maybe i'm just comparing to the buffet price (14,900won) that would have covered desserts as well and all the dishes served here.

after the meal we were supposed to meet chimo and double date with ark but my period pain got the better of me so we sent just ark over to meet chimo instead. bleahs. (it wasn't that bad a timing actually)

since i couldn't move around much in the cold weather, we went back to hang around the office instead. genjo actually bought me some pills to ease the pain - so sweet 8D i slept a bit and after that woke up in the evening and realised everyone's out shopping for dinner.

so at night i spent my christmas celebrating kyungmin's bday with the lovely members of CSL~

and these guy went out and came back with a hell lotta junk food.

miracle prepared the sweet potato cake again~

i like the baskin robbins ice cream cake too. looks so cute!

but the food wasn't enough and we were all craving ramen. so ark went to cook a huge bucket of instant noodles.......... like literally a bucket. i think they dumped >10 packets in that bucket??

i kinda like the way we all eat from the paper cups all together.

merry christmas everyone!! i think at least 5 people were missing from this picture. just not too good at wefies..!

and we played card games later on - werewolves. it was fun~!!

141001 My Birthday

i took my birthday leave and went for a day of Pamper Meself today!

first was a facial at the usual... then did my hair at the salon

no of cos i didn't cut that short. the hairstylist was just dying my hair. and did some quick trims. lol. but it was cool eh!?

and thank goodness for siblings cos at least dinner wasn't so lonely! ate at supply and demand at westgate and it was yummy.

dessert was green tea tiramisu, matcha parfait and matcha pancakes at the maccha house downstairs. matcha feaaaaaaaast~!!

went for a little afterwalk around and took some pictures at this lovely spot

wheee~~ it was a fun and relaxing day!
