i hate the ending...
i like happy endings better. at least there's no 'bitter aftertaste'. there's no feeling 'why couldn't have things work out better'. but i guess tragic stories always make reflecting back beautiful.
the one i which impressed me most about chrono crusade was the time ticking thingy. how would i feel, if i had a clock around my neck that is ticking away as i journey on, that marks the time i will die, and speeds its hands in moments of crises - like when rosette required chrono's powers. i think it's sad that someone who have done so much for humanity has to be tied down by that clock. but maybe that is where the story just seem so ephemeral, so wonderful. and it is this ending which makes looking at all the music videos fans have done so sad because you are looking at the moments they have spent together, but you have already known te ending.
and the trials incorporated by christianity in this show... the sacrifices to the likes of jesus christ by rosette. it's probably what inspired so many people, the cruxifixion, and awakened our realization.
that's why... i guess even tragic endings remind us of things... that not everything will always go well... not that if you pray you'll go to heaven, not that if you study you'll get a good grade, and not that if you are kind you will have a good life. good endings are not what we should seek for with our actions, but actions that comes from the heart, no matter what will still happen in the end, eh...

*p.s. the devil aion is damn shuai though... and joshua too!!! of cos, chrono in his original form is superb as well... hahahaha...
