Happy Birthday Wini~!!!
(was just forced to add this in after seeing her an hour ago (-_-`) wahhaha. even if it is 3months late... oh well~)

Drinking Cold water after meal = Cancer!

For those who like to drink cold water, this article is applicable to you.
It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal. However, the cold
water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will
slow down the digestion.

Once this "sludge" reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed
by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine.

Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer. It is best to drink
hot soup or warm water after a meal.

A serious note about heart attacks

Women should know that not every heart attack symptom is going to be
the left arm hurting. Be aware of intense pain in the jaw line.

You may never have the first chest pain during the course of a heart

Nausea and intense sweating are also common symptoms.

60% of people who have a heart attack while they are asleep do not
wake up.

Pain in the jaw can wake you from a sound sleep. Let's be careful
and be aware. The more we know, the better chance we could

A cardiologist says if everyone who gets this mail sends it to 10
people, you can be sure that we'll save at least one life. Read
this...It could save your life!!

Let's say it's 6.15 pm and you're driving home ..

Suddenly you start experiencing severe pain in your chest that
starts to radiate out into your arm and up into your jaw. You are
only about five miles from the hospital nearest your home.
Unfortunately you don't know if you'll be able to make it that far.
You have been trained in CPR, but the guy that taught the course did
not tell you how to perform it on yourself.

Since many people are alone when they suffer a heart attack, without
help, the person whose heart is beating improperly and who begins to
feel faint, has only about 10 seconds left before losing
However, these victims can help themselves by coughing repeatedly
and very vigorously. A deep breath should be taken before each
cough, deep and prolonged, as when producing sputum from deep inside
the chest.
A breath and a cough must be repeated about every two seconds
without let-up until help arrives, or until the heart is felt to be
beating normally again.
Deep breaths get oxygen into the lungs and coughing movements
squeeze the heart and keep the blood circulating. The squeezing
pressure on the heart also helps it regain normal rhythm.
In this way, heart attack victims can get to a hospital. Tell as
many other people as possible about this. It could save their
lives!! "

would it have been different if certain things didn't happen the way they did?

19th September 2006

You will try to know better the people you have met recently. Indeed, today's celestial energy will give you this desire to deepen your relationships. You will have to adapt to this new frame of mind. But, you will have to understand that some people's feelings might be different from yours. You will see that you will be better off if you share your energy with the ones who care about you.

is this referring to the one who just logged in, or the one whom i got a reminder of? either way, i'll just stay shut for a while.

this little leaf floated from tree to tree. got trapped in one and wrung itself free. got caught by one and stuck on with it. got loved by one and ran away from it. this little leaf couldn't decide what it wants, and now it's all too late.

too much silence makes your mind wander...
i saw that face and i knew better.
so i saved an apology today.
i guess when your circle gets wider, doesn't matter if it shrinks an inch or so, even if that inch was built up over 7years.
because you know, that inch was about to fall out anyway... so why not save the pain of incision?

why is everything so complicated with you?
why is everything so simple with you?
why can't i say what i want to you?
why do words slip so easily with you?
why do i have to re-write and re-type every sentence to you?
why do i just type whatever i want to to you?
why is there pain...
why is there peacefulness...
why are you so far away?
why are you so far away?

Nickelback - Far Away

this time, this place
misused, mistakes
too long, too late
who was i to make you wait
just one chance
just one breath
just in case there's just one left
'cause you know,
you know, you know

that i love you
i have loved you all along
and i miss you
been far away for far too long
i keep dreaming you'll be with me
and you'll never go
stop breathing if
i don't see you anymore

one my knees, i'll ask
last chance for one last dance
'cause with you, i'd withstand
all of hell to hold your hand
i'd give it all
i'd give for us
give anything but i won't give up
'cause you know,
you know, you know

so far away
been far away for far too long
so far away
been far away for far too long
but you know, you know, you know

i wanted
i wanted you to stay
'cause i needed
i need to hear you say
that i love you
i have loved you all along

and i forgive you
for being away for far too long
so keep breathing
'cause i'm not leaving

hold on to me and, never let me go

a theme song i had when i was in wildwood... heard it almost everywhere i go and at the most appropriate times... hmmm...

Dht - Listen To Your Heart

I know there's something in the wake of your smile.

I get a notion from the look in your eyes, yea.
You've built a love but that love falls apart.
Your little piece of heaven turns too dark.

Listen to your heart
when he's calling for you.
Listen to your heart
there's nothing else you can do.
I don't know where you're going
and I don't know why,
but listen to your heart
before you tell him goodbye.

Sometimes you wonder if this fight is worthwhile.
The precious moments are all lost in the tide, yea.
They're swept away and nothing is what is seems,
the feeling of belonging to your dreams.

Listen to your heart
when he's calling for you.
Listen to your heart
there's nothing else you can do.
I don't know where you're going
and I don't know why,
but listen to your heart
before you tell him goodbye.

And there are voices
that want to be heard.
So much to mention
but you can't find the words.

The scent of magic,
the beauty that's been
when love was wilder than the wind.

Listen to your heart
when he's calling for you.

Listen to your heart
there's nothing else you can do.

I don't know where you're going
and I don't know why,

but listen to your heart
before you tell him goodbye.

Listen to your heart, mm-mmmmmm

I don't know where you're going
and I don't know why,
but listen to your heart
before you tell him goodbye.

i'm really lucky.
so far i haven't had a day where i had to entertain long lines of guests for more than 2-3hours. whenever there's a long queue, the phloom breaks down or i get called somewhere else - giving postcards or going to the tunnel. maybe my luck will change later once my star is gone, but heck, there's only another week left anyway...
this is gonna be a long weekend... with doubles for saturday and sunday... and without motivation to look forward to.
i hope next week never ends...

や~!!新いBLOGSKINは自分が作った名のね!どう?美しいと思いですね...大好きだよ!あの七の罪は七の大好きな男の子が変わった... ハハハ...!!
in fact, i just thought since i have 7 guys then might as well put them as 7 sins... oh well i guess if you look at them another way, each of them do have a 'sin' that they carry i guess... i shall explain a bit here...
jin (samurai champloo) - killed his master (not purposefully...) and was being pursued by other followers of the same dojo for doing so
haruka (tactics) - the sin of mass-killing when he was a then a ruthless goblin, hence ended up being sealed. subsequently released by kantarou, who wanted to befriend an ogre-eating goblin.
byakuya (bleach) - carried his wife's sin and atoning for it by subsequently taking care of rukia (and someone being super cold to her)
chrno (chrno crusade) - was a devil who killed relentlessly for 'freedom', then lost his demon's horns and was trapped in a child's form due to loss of power
abel (trinity blood) - a krusnik, vampire who feeds on other vampires (that's sinful enough eh...)
loki (matantei loki ragnarok) - an angel expelled from heaven because he was thought to cause ragnarok (end of the world) and consequently gets pursued by odin's assassins
squall (final fantasy 8) - denied the world of all relations and seen as a lonewolf, he was actually shrouded by his orphanage past... (play the game to find out!)

oh now i remember who i forgot to put... haji and edward... oh well that would make it 9sins.... (-_-`) 残念だ!
i don't know why i'm still chasing the series. perhaps i've nothing much to do anyway. ah well. to say the least, tsubasa chronicles is very boring. the plot moves so slowly. it's episode 12 already and they've only found what - 3feathers? and in the beginning there's supposed to be a million of them scattered all over the world. if this had been real i don't think they would ever be able to finish them all. but i guess since it's only anime, they probably would. the story is so slow i can fold clothes, surf net and read my kingdom hearts faq while i'm watching the anime and i wouldn't miss any details. and that's so not exaggerating. and when it reaches the end of the episode, you're bound to know it cos the author pauses at the same scene for like 8seconds before it fades into the ending music mode. it's so darn irritating. i bet the author just wants to drag the story anyway. but i'll continue watching and see if anything improves, and i'm already about halfway through so i'll hang on anyway - am not one to do things halfway. heh. maybe next time i'll watch 2 slow animes together.
let's see, i've finally completed kingdom hearts 2 but not a 100% one... 89% when i beat that final boss but i guess it should be more now after i have finished searching for some more treasures and the titan cup. bluarghz. i don't think i'm gonna finish everything. sephiroth is a killer and the other cups and way too troublesome (form level 5, etc... and several fat men which i have to whack the hell before a time limit of a certain seconds). ughh... and the rest of the 10% are all mini-games. and oh i so hate mini games. and what's this about my gummi ship being 8% completed. (-_-`) i can't be bothered already. maybe i'll just copy a data file from zhifu and watch the secret ending. but wait, i've already watched it - on youtube. hahahahahah so i guess i'll put the game aside for now unless i'm bored the next time... so much that i'll train myself to level 99 and beat the crap out of sephiroth. またね!

やった!日本語ごで書けるんですは! 皆みえるんか?
marude, nani ka attan watashi no sei de.

it's not as if i don't want to help. just this once i've screwed up. not as if i am always on the clouds 24/7. i'm not a watchdog. i've tried to be better by helping. i've tried to do more. and i'm keeping myself mum, co si know the best retaliation is no retaliation. say what you want. ya right. sometimes, things that you tried to do are never enough. it's the things that you don't do that makes it obvious. in other words, even if you were to do a hundred good things, people will only blame you for that little thing you didn't do.
so i'm just closing on myself now. blast the music on my headphones so i can shut the noise from outside. so i won't hear the nagging, no matter how close. so i won't think about it anymore, no matter how strongly i oppose. it's never others' faults. it's your fault. atashi no sei de. yes me.

i guess it's times like this i feel glad i'll be away soon...

what are they going to do once the journey's over?
what am i going to do when i finish watching this anime?
that's why i suppose i hope everything would just last forever. but of cos, there's always the hands of time. something always has to end. if good things doesn't end, then so will bad things. this world is fair. i must say that i have held my breath for so long, i am finally relieved at how things have turned out. the previous chrono crusade left a bitter taste, but samurai champloo sure made me smile. all the while when i'm watching one episode per day (ok, sometimes 2 or 3), it had been a source of strengthfor me to carry on. i looked forward to takeaway dinner (maa, since mom is always ot-ing) because i can enjoy a 20minutes break from eating and watching a favourite anime with my brother. course, it's nicer to have company with you to laugh together, eat together and enjoy together.
now that my exam journey is over, time to look for another one...
i hate the ending...
i like happy endings better. at least there's no 'bitter aftertaste'. there's no feeling 'why couldn't have things work out better'. but i guess tragic stories always make reflecting back beautiful.
the one i which impressed me most about chrono crusade was the time ticking thingy. how would i feel, if i had a clock around my neck that is ticking away as i journey on, that marks the time i will die, and speeds its hands in moments of crises - like when rosette required chrono's powers. i think it's sad that someone who have done so much for humanity has to be tied down by that clock. but maybe that is where the story just seem so ephemeral, so wonderful. and it is this ending which makes looking at all the music videos fans have done so sad because you are looking at the moments they have spent together, but you have already known te ending.
and the trials incorporated by christianity in this show... the sacrifices to the likes of jesus christ by rosette. it's probably what inspired so many people, the cruxifixion, and awakened our realization.
that's why... i guess even tragic endings remind us of things... that not everything will always go well... not that if you pray you'll go to heaven, not that if you study you'll get a good grade, and not that if you are kind you will have a good life. good endings are not what we should seek for with our actions, but actions that comes from the heart, no matter what will still happen in the end, eh...

i thought fullmetal alchemist deserved to be the #1 rated anime, and was doubtful of samurai champloo when it took #1 position instead, but i was wrong. samurai champloo is truly an extraodinary anime. i've never seen anything like it (of cos that was what i thought when i watched fma too) - from its sequence change, break scenes (one of a kind and different for every episodes!), storyline, drawings, music (very hip-hop and indie-chic) and character personalities, it is all truly unique and captivating. eventhough each episode tells of a different story, the characters' personalities and histories are told and built upon them indirectly nontheless. and the stories are all incredibly thoughtful, whilst being supremely hilarious at the same time (i love the rhino-bug pulling the stone and the funny music-making rappy guy!), with an ending that is so unpredictable. this is one anime i wish could go on forever, hence i wanted to take my time watching it instead of finishing everything in one blow (of cos i have to set time apart for studying as well ;p). i'm on episode 12 now... hope a second series can come out...!!!
and i love jin!!!!!! oh my god #11 about him was fantastic...!! and the funny expression he has when he was told his specs was worth a lot O_o`

Did you know that those who appear to be very strong in heart, are real weak and most susceptible?

Did you know that those who spend their time protecting others are the ones that really need someone to protect them?

Did you know that the three most difficult things to say are:

I love you, Sorry and help me

Did you know that those who dress in red are more confident in themselves?

Did you know that those who dress in yellow are those that enjoy their beauty?

Did you know that those who dress in black, are those who want to be unnoticed and need your help and understanding?

Did you know that when you help someone, the help is returned in two folds?

Did you know that it's easier to say what you feel in writing than saying it to someone in the face? But did you know that it has more value when you say it to their face?

Did you know that if you ask for something in faith, your wishes are granted?

Did you know that you can make your dreams come true, like falling in love, becoming rich, staying healthy, if you ask for it by faith, and if you really knew, you'd be surprised by what you could do.
i finished dae chang geum in a week!
it's such a nice nice show. makes you want to watch it over and over again. especially when it gets to the last parts. and jung ho is such a great guy!!! ok, he doesn't look that appealing to many with his moustache, but character-wise and oh that smile and look!!! absolutely heart-melting... i can't believe there's actually such a guy. since this show is based on real history, of cos there IS such a guy. wait till you see the real face of jung ho without the moustache, ji jin hee is sooo damn handsome!!! WAAAA... *faints* and jang geum is such a great great woman. she is so so pretty!! she earns my total respect hands down! first ever woman in the imperial court with a rank, and the first ever imperial physician who is a female too... wow... that is really something. and this show really makes people empathize with her situation. and her willpower, determination, kind-heartedness and a spirit that never bows to evil. my new idol!!
how i wish there's a part 2... and that the show is longer... but i suppose the show is already as good as it can be already... and well, there is no second jang geum for a second part right... so i can only wait for jang geum's dream in anime form now!!!
Thank You, Dad

At age 8, your dad buys you an ice cream.
You thanked him by dripping it all over your lap.

When you were 9 years old, he paid for piano lessons. You thanked him by never even bothering to practice.

When you were 10 years old he drove you all day, from soccer to football to one birthday party after another.
You thanked him by jumping out of the car and never looking back.

When you were 11 years old, he took you and your friends to the movies.
You thanked him by asking to sit in a different row.

When you were 12 years old, he warned you not to watch certain TV shows. You thanked him by waiting until he left the house.

When you were 13, he suggested a haircut that was becoming.
You thanked him by telling him he had no taste.

When you were 14, he paid for a month away at summer camp.
You thanked him by forgetting to write a single letter.

When you were 15, he came home from work, looking for a hug.
You thanked him by having your bedroom door locked.

When you were 16, he taught you how to drive his car.
You thanked him by taking it every chance you could.

When you were 17, he was expecting an important call.
You thanked him by being on the phone all night.

When you were 18, he cried at your high school graduation.
You thanked him by staying out partying until dawn.

When you were 19, he paid for your college tuition, drove you to campus carried your bags.
You thanked him by saying good-bye outside the dorm so you wouldn't be embarrassed in front of your friends.

When you were 25, he helped to pay for your wedding, and he cried and told you how deep he loved you.
You thanked him by moving halfway across the country.

When you were 50, he fell ill and needed you to take care of him.
You thanked him by reading about the burden parents become to their children.

And then, one day, he quietly died. And everything you never did came crashing down like thunder on YOUR HEART.

supposed to be doing my stats homework... but haven't been updating myself for quite long so here goes:

our sensei thinks we should write something to record our memories for the youth tournament. first time we fought.
well i was up against opponents of the 3rd and 8th kyu, but it wasn't as horrible as i thought. i think my worst mistake was when i tried to do a taekwondo kick - well i guess out of self-defense one can do anything right...
the 3rd kyu, from nyp, (ting ting or serena i think) was the first person who ever taught me how to keigo. hence i had expected our fight to be quick and clean, 2 whacks on the men and i'm off. the next fight with chery, my senior, was a draw because i managed to hold off her attacks and she didn't quite abused her men attacks which i thought i'd be doomed to fall prey do cos of our height difference. since my foundation wasn't very solid, i didn't really expect myself to score any points, so i was pretty happy with drawing. ;p
i think i did rather well in the team event too. because i did see myself scoring half-points (1 flag up and the rest waved), just that probably my strokes weren't thorough enough. and i abused my men attacks this time cos my opponent (also called ting ting, but surname huang) was a tad shorter than me. i was also glad philip sensei bothered to tell me to cut through with my attacks just before i start. well, i guess any pointers given by any sensei are worth a cheer because this probably proves that i can actually do it but i just needed extra push. so i am gonna work harder for my next few kendo practice and sharpen my moves...

new year

one week of break but i've done next to nothing but while away my time. first 2 days spent in malaysia was spent sitting around smelling cigarette smoke and listening intently to sounds people make when they are gambling (shuffling of mahjong tiles, flipping of cards, gasps of 'wah lau' etc), in between eating a lot of funny new year goodies and zhu chao at my san gu's eldest son's ship. oh and there waa a lot of housefly swatting and aimless walking around too. i guess this is all just part of bonding.
then there's the day when i just puked from 3am till noon i think. what a memorable day. i didn't really know what was happening to me so i was pretty frightened, i guess that was why i was crying like mad. but i think i got something really fantastic out of this ordeal. i realise i have the most wonderful, caring and meticulous darling in this world who doesn't mind sacrificing an entire day to stay by my side and watch me sleep the whole day, clean up my puke and carry a lump like me around. i was quite sad that i couldn't go eat the drunken prawns at his house though. i'm also glad i couldn't eat for the whole day, nor for the day after that, and can only eat a bit more after that - cos that means i can thin down wahahhahaha

i hate school. i hate midterms. and they are just coming so soon. bluarghz. i'm bored. bye.

Credit Card Scam

This one is pretty slick since they provide YOU with all the
information, except the one piece they want.

WARNING...New Credit Card Scam.

Note, the callers do not ask for your card number; they already have it.
This information is worth reading. By understanding how the VISA
&MasterCard Telephone Credit Card Scam works, you'll be better prepared
to protect yourself.

One of our employees was called on Wednesday from "VISA", and I was
called on Thursday from "MasterCard".

The scam works like this: Person calling says, "This is (name), and I'm
calling from the Security and Fraud Department at VISA. My Badge number
is 12460 Your card has been flagged for an unusual purchase pattern, and
I'm calling to verify. This would be on your VISA card which was issued
by (name of bank). Did you purchase an Anti-Telemarketing Device for
$497.99 from a Marketing company based in Arizona?" When you say "No",
the caller continues with, "Then we will be issuing a credit to your
account. This is a company we have been watching and the charges range
from $297 to $497, just under the $500 purchase pattern that flags most
cards. Before your next statement, the credit will be sent to (gives you
your address), is that correct?"

You say "yes". The caller continues - "I will be starting a Fraud
investigation. If you have any question s, you should call the 1- 800
number listed on the back of your card (1-800-VISA) and ask for

You will need to refer to this Control Number. The caller then gives you
a 6 digit number. "Do you need me to read it again?"

Here's the IMPORTANT part on how the scam works. The caller then says,
"I need to verify you are in possession of your card". He'll ask you to
"turn your card over and look for some numbers". There are 7 numbers;
the first 4 are part of your card number, the next 3 are the security
Numbers' that verify you are the possessor of the card. These are the
numbers you sometimes use to make Internet purchases to prove you have
the card. The caller will ask you to read the 3 numbers to him. After
you tell the caller the 3 numbers, he'll say, "That is correct, I just
needed to verify that the card has not been lost or stolen, and that you
still have your card. Do you have any other questions?" After you say

No, the caller then thanks you and states, "Don't hesitate to call back
if you do", and hangs up.

You actually say very little, and they never ask for or tell you the
Card number. But after we were called on Wednesday, we called back
within 20 minutes to ask a question. Are we glad we did! The REAL VISA
Security Department told us it was a scam and in the last 15 minutes a
new purchase of $497.99 was charged to our card.

Long story made short - we made a real fraud report and closed the VISA
account. VISA is reissuing us a new number. What the scammers want is
the 3-digit PIN number on the back of the card. Don't give it to them.
Instead, tell them you'll call VISA or Master card directly for
verification of their conversation. The real VISA told us that they will
never ask for anything on the card as they already know the information
since they issued the card! If you give the scammers your 3 Digit PIN
Number, you think yo u're receiving a credit. However, by the time you
get your statement you'll see charges for purchases you didn't make, and
by then it's almost to late and/or more difficult to actually file a
fraud report.

What makes this more remarkable is that on Thursday, I got a call from a
"Jason Richardson of MasterCard" with a word-for-word repeat of the VISA
scam. This time I didn't let him finish. I hung up! We filed a police
report, as instructed by VISA. The police said they are taking several
of these reports daily!

They also urged us to tell everybody we know that this scam is

Please pass this on to all your family and friends. By informing each
other, we protect each other.

christy~bell, your career personality type is INTP

That means that based on the standard measure of personality traits, brainstorming and creating new concepts is one of your strengths. You are an out-of-the-box thinker and come up with great ideas. You are one of those people who absorb seemingly disparate pieces of information and turn them into one brilliant and coherent thought. In other words, you see connections between ideas where others cannot.

Your inquisitive nature makes you a life-long seeker of knowledge. Your excitement comes from developing the concepts and ideas, once you know that your idea works, you are on to the next challenge. Your mind moves so quickly that you surround yourself with a strong team to finalize the ideas you conceive.

The reason employers and recruiters might be on the lookout for you is that only about 3-4% of the U.S. population shares the unique characteristics of your personality type. Research shows that businesses succeed when employers create a good balance of personality types in the office. And since only 3-4% of the U.S. population shares your type, that means employers are looking for you.

But, to truly show employers what you have to offer, you need to understand a little more about traits that make up your type.

ff12 trailer!!! nice theme song by angela aki. i can't wait!!

lots of thoughts running through my head...

first off, even if you feel that you are better than your seniors, does that give you authority to disrespect them, humiliate or laugh at them? no matter what, seniors are still seniors, and i do respect them unless they totally failed the job.

and secondly, if kendo is turning you into such a bakemono who lusts for blood, wouldn't it be better for you to quit it? (there is NO visible blood shed with any one of your hits anyway)

kendo is discipline. if the men alone shields you from differentiating right and wrong, friend or foe, then you have not the discipline yet.

lastly, we would definitely support your decision to keep silent as we won battles after battles, because you are not even fit to be called part of us. and yes, laugh if we fall, because it won't even be worth a notice for us.
hey guys take a look at the memoirs of a geisha link i put up! damn funny... ahahahah

just completed magna carta tears of blood. it's that feeling you get when you look so much to completing and you've done it, then you've got nothing to look forward to anymore. the ending of it was pretty satisfying, though short, and all the graphics were worth the patience!

watched memoirs of a geisha yesterday too. kinda disappointing for a show i looked so forward to. the book is definitely much better. the story pace is SLOOOW (seems to be the norm for everything i'm looking forward to nowadays), i almost fell asleep and the subtitles were so bad that i couldn't really catch what they were saying. it's fortunate i've read the book, else i won't have an inkling of what the hell was going on. i'm suprised dad didn't fall asleep. when it was around 1.5hours i thought the show was past limit, it felt like 3hours had past.

muscle ache ever since i got back from kendo. the strain on my shoulders - OUCH. guess that's the price you pay for trying to be independent. and i can't believe my calf muscle aches too. first time i'm haing pain all over. dakara, mochiron watashi can't go for today's morning training... (not to mention it's so darn far away and i've to wake up when the sun's not up) sorry guys, guess you can't put too much faith on me for the competition, and sorry SMU kendo club, you'll have to be embarrassed again...

and hey i've to get back to FA already! watched a lame show called madagascar, completed my stuff so enough fooling around, i gotta be back on track yeah... oh wait... there's still dinner... hmmm FA can wait hahaha - no way i can't repeat my MA mistakes again... (-_-`)

Tomoko Tane - Broken Wings

I know this will not remain forever
However it's beautiful
Your eyes, hands and your warm smile
They're my treasure

It's hard to forget

I was still with this solution
Don't spend your time in confusion
I'll turn back now and spread...

My broken wings...
Still strong enought to cross the ocean with

My broken wings...
How far should I go drifting in the wind?
Higher and higher in the wind

My broken wings...
Still strong enought to cross the ocean with
My broken wings...
How far should I go drifting in the wind?
Across the sky just keep on... Flying
