Day 2 Meijimura, Karaoke Night

woke up at like 7+ to have breakfast and got ready for the first event since i'm here - meiji mura.
me and yvonne was gonna be in all black today... so brace the heat.... T_T

honestly i didn't really like my pandora cosplay today so there isn't many pictures. centre parting characters are really x_x

we went on stage for a while, then was told to hang around till 4pm so we could take a group pic. good thing we could hide from the sun for a bit during lunch.

we then got our sorry asses up and decided to explore a bit of the mura...

it started pouring like mad nearer to 4, and it became impossible to take a group photo. waited till the rain downed a little before we all got on our bus back to the hotel. there was a karaoke party happening but yvonne didn't want to join, so i had to go by myself. it was crazyyyy

Day 1 Omotenashi Day

so... i touched down around 9pm at nagoya on saturday and managed to skip day 1 laguna's event. haha. thankfully team indonesia came at the same time so there were people who came to pick me up. or i might have to travel down myself T_T turns out that the team's ticket was unfortunately canceled by whoever it was, and had to rebook to fly on sat instead. wow...

went to the hotel to check in and luckily yvonne was already back. there was no activity for sunday - just a day of outing with our omotenashi or student helper, so it was going to be a relaxing weekend for me. yay~!

the next day, we ate the breakfast buffet. the food was pretty nice - there's curry and corn soup, cereal, rice and bread.

we got ready to get out for some shoppinnnggggg after that. walked around the malls near our hotel first and somehow managed to buy lots of stuff...

it was so hottttttt. our dear omotenashi momo queued for the ichiran ramen for us so we had a pretty good lunch!!

got to sat in those cubicles. my own space and water tap. hurhur.

we then had some yogurt ice cream dessert at the basement of a shopping mall.

we then walked over to osu alley and saw a popular haunted house that only opens in summer. such a long queue already under the hot sun...

had some more food - ice shavings! momo's friend was working there and she gave a big portion to us.

and then we continued shopping along osu - bought so many clothes!! and mandarake was awesome!!!

after mandarake - we went home and rested. tired but happy shopping day!

Aug 1 - costume judging day

i realised that i didn't take any photos except 1. it was a whole day of judging day and ours started around noon. kudos to the first group that started at 8am...

in any case, looking at all the awesome costumes everyone else had... we've already succumbed to our fate T_T so we're just going to get retail therapy and enjoy our trip here.

160702-03 Cosfest

so on saturday i attended as katana with the rest of the suicide squad team. whee! woke up early so yvonne and i could practise for wcs in the morning.
doing katana for the 3rd time, so didn't really feel like taking any photos. fortunately there's lots of people who took so i just grabbed from here and there.

took photos of the jail and the bartop too~

we did a group performance and a solo catwalk.

and when event ended, so glad i got a free trip home from kurumi who was going to woodlands too. yay!

and sunday is a battle day. i was actually sick from thursday and only recovered slightly on sat. but i think i heal when i'm overwhelmed, sometimes. =_= so it was actually a good thing. not that i want to be in the same situation again...

our costumes are so thick that we really didn't want to step outside. so the total no. of photos i took for the day was just 2.

my eyes look so lifeless. ughhh. it looks as sick as me.

in any case. there's still photos from the public! here's the teams. only 4 participated this year.

after the performance we were all required to do some catwalk..

so from this day forth, habaek and soah wedded on stage. haha.

and we're the winners! we had some mistakes on stage due to my lack of lighting knowledge but oh well... at least our 2 weeks of preparation was well worth it! even though we slacked towards the end thinking we probably wouldn't win...

we really super quickly took off our costume and ran to the toilets.
my bladder suffered for the day...

then we had dinner at soup spoon but not in a celebratory mode as we were worrying over how we were gonna come up with a new costume in less than 1 month. T_T
