yes i must be mad, but i'm gonna have these dolls made for my shoot.

Photobucket

perhaps i'll sell them away after that, anyone wants? lols.

made the clothes first. too big for my barbie dolls.

Photobucket

then finally got my dolls stuffing from maomao to make the bodies! they look rather long. let's see if i'm hardworking enough to 'chop' the legs.

Photobucket

made the hair/hat yesterday. awwww.

Photobucket

now i'm thinking what i should draw for the face. perhaps they don't need one since they have masks. a bit lazy to do the masks. no inspirations. zzz.

i know i'm damn slow but i decided to do gong gil and went to fix the shoes last friday...

Photobucket

Photobucket

then i attached it to one of my high platforms using black tapes. heh.

Photobucket

all ready to go! (or should i say.. all readied to go...)

uhhh so did i just finish it?

well, the embroidery part, at least. gahh. this satin is STILL not suitable for embroidery. plus it rips ever so easily. oh well, that's what you get for RM2/m. lols.

so after another hour or so of machine stitching...

Photobucket

and i hate working with gold threads cos it breaks so easily and i don't know what to do about it. but i love it when it's stitched on. zzz.

Photobucket

sewing machine rocks.

also finished the leg warmers :D this time the elastic bands look awesome, because i used zig-zag stitch instead of the --- one.

Photobucket

oh... need to buy the ropes for it!

Photobucket

and gonggil's back

Photobucket

the bow is also ready, with the 3 colored streamers behind. can't really see in this screenshot but yes there's supposed to be 3 colors. it's a bit too long though.

Photobucket.

Photobucket

now i have to repair the inner sleeves, the oversized red coat (i really hate it), hooks on the inner top and work on the shoes.

my blog is almost a week stale since my last random rant. so here's some updates on gonggil!
more than ever inspired by lee jun ki after finishing his whole series of time between dog and wolf.
but i'm pretty frustrated because it seems that a lot of my research shows the cloth/color etc in a different shade. so i guess it all boils down to how i interpret them, right?

the outer red (oh well, if i have extra time and money i might remake this with new cloth).

Photobucket

Photobucket

the inner top. quite proud of this, except perhaps i should have used white instead of cream. but GOSH my pictures show cream dammit. perhaps i'll wash until it fades off. it doesn't look yellowish right? it's like the yellow-whitish or dirty white or whatever. *self-convinces*

Photobucket

Photobucket

my trousers! and it's waist-area stretchy! can wear as pyjamas pants and wash till it becomes white. lols.

Photobucket

Photobucket

managed to find the biggest pic of his sash pattern from this picture... and enlarged till i can enlarge no more. i can only like imagine the colors for the shady parts and mirror the left side. it looks so totally different from the dollfie's!

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

and i hand-embroidered this while watching episode 4-12 of dog and wolf. was also feverish, flu-ing and swiney whatnots. gahh. it's horrible. but oh well. i machine stitched the rest of the part. will upload picture when it's done. oh, and this is so NOT for my pillow! (-_-`)

OH SHUCKS. his red satin has patterns on it. grrr. oh well. but he's a pauper! how can he afford these kinda cloth! oh well i'll watch the movie again and confirm the errors. gahhh. perhaps he upgraded the red satin after he entered the palace. who knows?
ta-da!
i reached office early in the morning to find no one there except me. so i rotted for 2 hours. (still am, but oh well)
and since i bought loads of cloth from malaysia, i decided i would start on my next project. (actually since i was going to go malaysia i might as well just use the opportunity to work on a new project and take advantage of the cheap cloth there)

so... as crazy as i am, i'll be doing gong gil from the king's man. the very first movie that attracted me to lee jun ki. (oh yes i love him so much i've even thought about doing his jstyle mv. but that's really way out of my league. for now.)

so here's some of gong gil's picures.

Photobucket

and artwork!

Photobucket

simply gorgeous.

Photobucket

but mostly i'm just gonna take reference from his dollfie pics (posted sometime ago). since it has the all over view.

just cut my cloth yesterday while watching slumdog millionaire (a movie that's really deserving of it's 17 awards by the way). yays for leejunki! and i haven't even completed my iljimae. errggh.. i really have to start completing my projects...
gonggil the king and the clown

red satin: RM2 x 4m = RM8 = $4
white cloth: RM2 x 2m = RM4 = $2
green satin: RM2 x 1 = RM2 = $1
yellow cotton: RM7 x 4m (charged at price of 3.5m) = RM24.50 = $12.30

total: $19.30

yesterday was suppose to be a great monday.
because i dreamt that lee junki was my teacher and that he takes taxi from the kitchen to the living room (for whatever reason).
still, lee junki is <3!!!

speaking of which... i really really want this 2 dollfies (either one). i find the king's man one prettier though.

but it's all sold out!!! will anybody please sell to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (;_;)
