on sunday, we headed down to the comic world.
it seems that it wasn't particularly interesting for them to attend comic world, and it was not recommended for me to cosplay there, because of the weather, the crowd and also of the potentially dangerous photos that could be taken. T_T
in the end though, there were 2 huge inner hall where it was pretty warm inside with all the booths.
caruto spotted! he's still as cute as ever. his paw paw is so cuuuuuuute.
honestly there's nothing for me to buy, that's why i always don't visit all these. however, i saw a lot of kurobasu and saber goods, so i thought i'll get them for smlj instead. and i did manage to get quite some stuff, since 50% of the booths were almost all kurobasu. the rest was like LoL (why is it under comics though??), SAO, fate stay night etc so sad. probably only saw like 1 booth selling FF, and only FF13.
there's also another hall that's crazy packed with cosplayers, where performances were happening at. wanted to watch but can't really get a decent view. d'gray man was performing at that time, and it looked really nice with all their moving backgrounds!
went outside to walk a little but it was just freaking cold....! i wonder how these cosplayers cn tahan!! they are wearing almost the same amount of clothes as if it's singapore weather. gosh. and some had lots of skin showing. O_O. my respect!!!
caught some csl members on the loose! actually, they were gonna shoot with ta-sem. here's nakyu and lunabelle, and aryeong in the second photo. they are doing characters from cyphers. kyaaaaa i like nakyu <3 a="a" cosplays="cosplays" csl="csl" href="http://cafe.naver.com/kcslab" more="more" of="of" see="see">here3>
. the top banner shows all the characters they did for cyphers >.<
we also met some csl cafe members at the event, and seonmin, the representative with jungu from amaterasu. it was a bit weird getting introduced to everyone (as sivir and sg rep... guuuh...) because i have no idea what to say =_= one of the cafe fans even bought cakes for us. *w*
we then had dinner at a bbq place again. there's so many of us (i think 17 or 18, with 3-4 cafe fans) that we have to settle down in batches. ooh and it was so good to see mr gogi again. he always has interesting things to say. and i must say, he has a black hole for a stomach. that's waaaaay too much meat he was eating.
we moved to macs for desserts later (is it a tradition to always have dessert though?) since it was about the only place that can accomodate so many of us.
and jimin's cat was going crazy sniffing all our bbq so it was time to feed it. kyaaa! it's such a well-groomed, pretty white cat!!! meowwwwwww~~
and i don't know why, but after a while they started to dress aryeong in a strange get up. maybe because he was the youngest there. poor thing.
and jimin said he would like to try it so he was next. lol.
but ta-sem is the cutest cat there. no resistance at all.
and that was our night~
This is all an illusion.
But there is truth within illusions.
And when the illusion fades,
the truth will still resonate within you.

Day 13 (27th July 2011) - Leaving Japan
Huh.. ok so i took a month to update this whole trip. oh well, finally reaching the last day anyway!
so in the morning, met shoko for breakfast at mac before we went to shibuya to get she's precious piano.
i actually tabao-ed this from kfc and sneaked it to mac to eat. best of both worlds ma... but the restaurant really sucks. it's divided into non-smoking and smoking, but the non-smoking areas are ALWAYS heavy with smoke. seriously did they think the smoke molecules would stop moving if they put the sign up???
kfc biscuit
so byebye shoko and thanks for sending us off!!!
missed the train because the station person gave us the wrong platform! he must have heard haneda instead of narita. GRRRR. we were THIS close to taking the train, and would have taken it if we didn't go down the wrong platform...!!!! (*&@((@)
oh well. at least there's a straight train to the airport so we didn't have to change like crazy the way we did while we stayed at ikebukuro the last time. took the next one to reach the airport anyway. ate the iron chef pudding on my way there and she kept bugging me all the way on why i didn't display my birthdate on fb. GRAH. he can be so damn persistent if he wants to.
different terminal than the last time, and turns out that there's nothing much to look at. think i was at T1? or was it T2??
ooh and delta has a QR code check in for their ticket if you do it online, so they were scanning this ticket for me instead of the normal paper ones. so cool!
and then there's the airplane food...

Day 5 (19th July 2011) - Shibuya and Harajuku
Shopping day today! Wanted to eat at one of the Iron chef's place today but turns out that they were having a holiday due to yesterday's Beach Day >.< so we made a reservation for the next day instead.
Saw the japanese version of Korean's 'You are Beautiful' - the guys don't look as cute though!
Was not a very good day since it kept raining, though it came in short bursts. Was huger so we looked around for food. Saw an advertisement on 880 yen buffet (+120 for dessert) and went up to eat it since it was raining and we needed shelter. The selection wasn't much but somehow the Japanese seemed to be able to combine the selections into very fine dishes! Guess that's the difference between singaporeans and japanese having buffet 8D
After lunch, we took a walk around 109 men and women, and up the Spanish slope. There was a Bershka building newly built! But what we really went crazy over was the Uniqlo capsule shop as there were selling all kinds of games/anime tshirts for 590-990yen! Totally awesome <3 I think I got about 8 of them to give and for myself. Oops.
Went to check out Burberry but unfortunately this season's bags were pretty crappy so didn't manage to see any I like enough to buy. Disappointed. Realized that black label was just directly behind it too.
Walked the expensive Omotesando before rounding up to Harajuku. Gotta love harajuku shopping.
Mac on Harajuku was pretty unique, look at its interiors!
Toilet doors.
Gotta love MickeyD. >.<
We ended our day at Wolfgang Puck express, a burger chain just near the entrance of Takeshita dori. According to mr she, it was supposed to be on some Michelin food guide but since it's an express chain we shouldn't expect too much. Turns out the food is good too! I had teriyaki egg burger while She had steak.
nanahhahaha here's my uniqlo spoils!
