161210-11 Pangyo Myeongdong

the next 2 days was basically a full day of shopping for my winter coat, since mine is just too thin to withstand the crazy cold.

we had lunch with JH at giheung, at a random kimchi stew shop as we were drawn in by the smell. it turned out to be pretty awesome, and we were so full after just the small pot! the omelette is nice, but 6k is not that worth it. it's half in ketchup cos mr kong doesn't like ketchup. lol.

after that, JH sent us to pangyo, and we started our shopping at the outlets. i think i tried on more than 20 jackets lol and eventually narrowed down to the one from beanpole, its competitor and NBA. 

at shinsegae, we took a short dinner break as we were still full, but tired from all the walking.

saw a funny shop called beli sian. hahah. like my mood sio.

the next day we also managed to head to myeongdong and shop at the lotte outlet to compare the prices.

we ate at the basement level of the dept store, and randomly chose a salmon chirashi, which turned out to be MUCH BETTER than expected. i say this, cos i tend to think restaurants at dept store are expensive and give little, but this one - the salmon chunks were huge and made up for like 70% of the bowl, and i've never seen so little rice. it was heavenly!!! and the roe topping! i didn't even mind the beansprouts!

or maybe cos it was near closing time (9-10pm), which was why the ajummas gave us a lot?

anyway i saw another fila down that i quite like which actually makes me look slim and has magnet catches, but didn't get it cos it was a little too thin. in the end, we checked all the prices online and bought them from Naver shopping, cos they are more than 50bucks cheaper.... hahah.

and it was sent to me 2 days later.. whee~! here's my nba jacket!

wore this out to dinner with mr kong's childhood gathering, and we had wagyu buffet (litterally just wagyu being served). 

didn't think the pink fur would look so pretty, and the jacket is actually pretty light and warm, despite the many pockets and zippers. aside from the fact that it gets dirty easily and attracts dust, it really is an awesome piece.

161012 Redpeak Jeonja

back at bundang again! this time at jeonja, just 2-3 stations away from where i last met lucy.
this time, i was back for lunch with the redpeak people. as lunch was a little late (past 1pm), there wasn't a lot of people everywhere, so we could just pick any place we wanted.

we were eating at this place that's like a cafe alleyway, except there seem to be more restaurants than cafe. according to my colleagues it was featured in some drama before.

we ordered almost a set each - main and soup... SO FULLLL... and we even had some salmon orangy salad appetizer. think the soup was pumpkin-based. yum yum.

there's charcoal bread given for starters too.

i can't rememebr what i had. probably some roe pasta. but i tasted all and it was awesome. couldn't finish all because i was so full though...

after food, we went for a coffee break. notice how this is very common with meeting people. love coffee breaks! i had hot tea cos i was feeling a little cold and all the food made me burst.

i then went up to their new office to meet huey and all the rest of the people. i can't remember all their names T_T we had a meeting before i went off around 4pm, and i stopped at myeongdong for the rest of my cosmetic shopping! went to lotte for duty free but some cosmetics needed to be sold in a bundle, so ended up at myeong dong street again. oh well.

161012 Redpeak Jeonja

161001 Wangsimni

oh yay! we're going into town!
that's because today's a special day. ^_^

had breakfast at dunkin before heading out. this is like one of their new menu so we tried it out.

we then headed for jongno first via bus, where i get my regular dose of shopping at my favourite stall. then we took a train to the near wangsimni, where we bought screen protector for my birthday laptop. stopped by a convenience store along the way and discovered a really cute drink!

there's 3 flavours - coffee, choco and corn. bought corn and it was said to be the most popular flavour. when the cashier rang up the sale, the minions song played as well! how cute!

we then walked to the screen protector store and after some deliberation decided to get full protector (front, inside, screen) for almost 60k won. we took almost 1 hr to wait for the person to help paste everything on. the queue was growing crazy and in the end we only managed to paste for my laptop. 00 was too embarrassed to continue for his.. which i didn't really quite get. oh well! oh, the store was also selling iron man figurines which double up as car fragrance...!

we then headed over to the shopping mall.

the underground shopping mall is pretty unique. the indoor decor had different kinds of design on the ceilings and the whole place felt pretty venice and victorian like.

since it was halloween, there were models walking around in costumes! i thought this looked pretty cool, her make up was really like a plastic model!

there's no pokemon go here, but there's still pokemon donuts.

we had a quick meal at the food court, sharing one huge cold noodles.

then we passed by this chicken store and decided to have some.

upon exiting the place, there's a huge graffiti wall as well.

after that we headed over to myeongdong to meet up with pion and ark, who were collecting costumes for the photoshoot on the next day. had chicago pizza!! cheesy!!!

ordered cheesy bulgogi as well.

we finished off with some cosmetic shopping at myeongdong, then rested at osulloc. my green tea tiramisu cake for the day. haha. and that yuzu matcha is very refreshing. ark bought it but we swapped out ice cream match with his as ours was too overkill on the matcha. hehe.

pion got the green tea spread for me as well. yum! and luckily, mr gold was also on the way back to yongin so he picked us up at gangnam and we got a car ride home. wheeee~
