130720-21 Comic World #117

21st was supposed to be my Topik but i decided to forfeit it to perform with the team. after much consideration... i mean how often do you get to perform with the team at Comic World? and i think 00 spent quite some effort in order to make this happen for me and the team too. and i figured i could always take the test in Singapore when i'm back.

and i'm glad i made that decision in the end!! (not that i even studied for the test up until the day before anyway...)

we went on both days, and on Saturday i probably only worn my costume for an hour before i took everything off. so didn't get a lot of pictures taken. the team were rehearsing in the open, but there were random bouts of drizzle happening so it was really irritating.

this is like the only photo i managed to find that day.

and yes i'm saber again! *surprise surprise*

on sunday, we woke up early (actually we woke up early for both days), like 7-8+ am and set off for our competition day ahead. we could still managed to cram a bit of rehearsal before we went on stage. but before that it seems that fate zero was also the mascot for this event so we went on stage, took some photos and presented prizes to the crowd. one of the audience even gave me some sausage sticks, so cute. korean audience is unexpectedly responsive and encouraging!

so here's our performance!

the other teams ALL did dancing. wow. i guess that contributes to our winning factor. but there's 2 teams i'd like to mention that's watch worthy. this dance is REALLY awesome. almost like a korean boy band. i kept watching it over and over again and i don't get sick of it. it's like the best dance i've seen on cosplay stage that's really damn well coordinated.



and this one is like a korean girl band. they literally performed SNSD song anyway and their clothes change was pretty awesome.

and we came in first!!!

we went on stage to receive the prize. the funniest thing was everyone thought skasha was a girl so when he spoke, the crowd went wild!!!

we then went for dinner at a chinese restaurant. and it wasn't too bad!

130629-30 Cosmake Event

there was a mall event at lotte, in cheongryangri where cosmake was introduced to the public in conjunction with lotte mall sponsors. since CSL was in charge of cosmake, we went down to display our costumes and performed to the public.

our members had to stand in front of these background and pose/take pictures with the public. 

the turn out wasn't great, lots of little kids appeared and i think somehow we should have had more characters wearing cute costumes than scary armours (it scared most of the kids away lol). we had 2 performances on sat and another one on sun.

here's me and my darling doing jayce. our music couldn't work the next day so we had to perform alongside some random music. it was really weird. oh well.

junku also managed to come down - it's been so long since we last met! he's now a growing actor. that day was also the first day his drama will be aired, called 'I Want to Get Married'. however i haven't been able to find it. seems he only appears after episode 7 or 9 though, can't remember. since he will be starring as a cultured prince, he didn't have any chance to flaunt his martial arts. so sad. so he took this chance to do a temp shinigami and showed us a few stunts. still maintaining well, i must say! we had drinks together post event, it was a pretty fun night! though we didn't drink till 3am like the others (had to go back to recuperate for the next day), it was still a worthwhile night.

sunday was actually more interesting since there were other teams down as well for competition. i spotted our pretty member (cos from Aion) and took pictures with her hahahhaha

and this is like the 4th time i'm in saber cos. though for waky, it's much more....!

sailormoon topped the competition, seems that it's difficult to compete with a classic series~ we packed to get ready to go, and all our stuff was shipped off in a HUGE truck. like those meant for moving house. whoa. didn't eat with the team though cos they wanted kfc, so i went with 00 for ramen instead. tee-hee.

Philippines Day 2: WCS Semi Finals

woke up the next time around 8+. wow. and we actually managed to have breakfast - and it was the only breakfast we have for the whole trip - at the hotel. the breakfast for ordering was awesome! but as long as there's cereal, egg, toast and stuff for me, it's good breakfast. i had waffles, and the rest of the koreans had rice.

this adobo chicken is really nice!

after that we got ready to move our stuff out and prepare at the convention.

and i saw so many familiar faces!!!!!!!!!!!! KYAA~~~!! love you guys for coming over!!!!

some of my armour parts fell off too - so that's why the collar is hanging so far away from my neck T_T here's our full team anyway!! GO GO TEAM CSL~~!!!!

i actually gave away my sword to the red factor team since we were gonna throw it away and make a new one anyway. and i got a rourouni kenshin sword in return. these people were so happy receiving the broken sword i felt quite ashamed...

after the event ended we went to eat dinner at a restaurant by the beach. and during the journey this was how tired our leader was after a whole night of chionging the weapon... some people just never learn...

and mr kong just stood there for a long time after he saw the beach. i think he was too dazed.

there wasn't a lot of food, and it was so dark that i didn't know what i was eating. only managed to take these...

we then headed back to our hotel for the after party! it started off with a sizzling fire show!

everyone drank flaming lamborghini so it was a really crazy night watching all the drunken peeps...
