160511 Kansai trip

it's namchin's birthday and we're travelling to osaka! whee~~!
more than a present for him it's like a present to me, since he hates travelling. i really wanted to go usj for the harry potter but he doesn't even know what harry potter is. O_O||
so anyway we booked this like 3months ago and i took off after i was done with work. had to take an overnight flight and wait 4-5hrs for my guy to show up =_= after i reached KIX at 8+am, he's just about to fly from korea. wahhhhhhhhhh.
i was trying to look for a place to charge and play my games while waiting and ended up at the second level where there's a few computers with USB ports. hurhur. unfortunately my adaptor wasn't compatible with japan so i had to resort to using USBs. thank goodness i have at least 3 with me. thankfully you don't need to pay to use the charging ports. it's a celeron pc btw... wonder who will pay to use this...

namchin arrived around 12 and we went to get 1 day osaka pass (at 1.5k yen) to travel to our hostel. normally, a trip from the airport to namba is about 1.1k, which is quite ridiculous so we just bought the pass. and i realised that i've forgotten 70% of my japanese. DAMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE x.x

we rode the express train (about 40mins, with reserved seats) to namba, then transferred one station to Sakuragawa for our airbnb.

our place was a 10mins walk away from the station in a nice, quiet neighbourhood and in between 3 stations - Sakuragawa, Osaka-Dome and Daishou. very convenient! the place is pretty big for the 2 of us too, with 2 queen-sized beds and a kichenette. this is the link for the place: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/9716433 

after unpacking and recharging and going a few rounds at dragon blaze, we decided to step out for lunch/dinner. when we stepped out we went the wrong way and ended up at osaka dome!

no worries, our free pass can be abused. we took the subway to namba next.

we just stepped into the first few okonomiyaki restaurants we saw cos we were just too hungry. ate takoyaki w truffle, yakisoba w mushroom and seafood okonomiyaki. the okonomiyaki was burnt at the bottom and not very nice, even though it was supposed to be the highlight.

thankfully we followed up with good cheese tarts at the famous pablo!! i bought the charcoal truffle cheese biscuits for my colleagues and it was really very nice.

after that we walked all the way to another part of namba and decided to take the train back to namba again for dinner. we were actually already very full but came across an ocha-tzuke restaurant, so we decided to order a set to try.

you can choose to eat it as it is or pour the soup/tea into the dish, or just squeeze lemon on top to eat. decided to pour the soup in.

it turned into a porridge like thing, and it was super nice! i've always disliked ochatzuke but i don't think it was tea we poured in, but a seafood-base soup. yummmmyyy

went home after that for more dragon blazeeeeee.

160503 Last day

quickly prepared and got out of house at 5am to take the first bus out to the aiport.
we had a goood long sleep on the way there because we hadn't slept much. but my stomach was acting up and i kept needing to go to the toilet.

the queue to check in was too long so we decided to eat some stuff before joining the queue. after looking around, the omu rice place seemed pretty nice. i actually didn't have any appetite but we just ordered curry set to share anyway.

honestly, it's not worth the money at all. the meet was hard and so was the rice. the instant curry at namchin's house is way better (and cheaper). it's a good thing we only ordered one set.

anyway i realised we didn't have much photos together the more i go over to korea. so i always try to take one at the airport. here!

and we went to join the queue just an hour before departure. waited like 30mins before it was our turn and i was granted a fast pass to bypass the long queues of security. yay!!
got on plane with like 5mins to spare.

this time i was transiting twice... so i have 3 meals. yay! so here's the breakfast from kr to taiwan.

then the snack from taiwan to hongkong

i was like the very last person to check in and i entered via the biz class path way. but my attempt was unsuccessful. still, managed to sit on the first class seat for 5mins. HHAHA. jeez, why did you have to check me. just let me sit luh.

and finally chicken rice from hongkong to singapore. banana cream haagen daaz ice cream was given at the end. yay~

i only had like an hour of transit between each flight but it was enough for me to recharge my electronics and play a few rounds of dragon blaze. and i finally touched down at 7pm in singapore, just a little ahead of schedule. managed to finish watching Ant Man (where i left off when i was arriving) and Pride and Prejudice the zombie version. not bad! started on Shakespeare in love, hope there's not a kids around me looking at all the bed scenes...

flight is much smooth this time! happpppyyy whenever there's no delays, always.
but i'm back to reality again. haiz. sian.... and back to work the next day too. zzzzzzzzzzz.

160502 VI Photoshoot Part 2

so after reviewing the photos the previous night... jinsu pointed out that my wig seemed to be worn the wrong way. HOLY CRAPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP ALL THE FIRST DAY PHOTO NOW CAN'T BE USED.
i feel sorry towards giro T_T he took some really nice pictures too.
i wanna cry.
i guess it was a good thing we had a 2 day shoot for this if not i would not have any usable photo at all. yeah, like, AT ALL.

sighs....

anyway, woke up at 830am to prep. namchin said that he needed to fix a lot of stuff but we ended up sleeping away till the sun hits our butt. and anyway, he didn't even need to fix it last night. the time we took for the WIP photo (make-up, prep photoshoot) took so long that he could do his stuff during this period of time. we only really started preparing at 10 anyway because i wanted to have breakfast so he cooked the jajang buldak mee for me. wheehee. ramyeon in the morning isn't too bad. we chatted with his mom and sis for a bit before heading down to the office.

sodam was still sleeping, seems she's been up all night gaming O_O|||

in the end, we ended up finishing our prep around 1pm. sighs. i think i'm faster with VI make up this time. oooh i look like a mix here. HAHAHAH. okays. wheee~~~

i don't understand why the guys only started to load the things when we're done with make up. they could have just done it while we're doing it. these people really have no sense of time and organisation...

so while waiting for them to load the stuff.. lots of time for me to game and selfie again. i got my wig direction right this time OKKKK

and we reached the place at 2+.. ///cries. and while waiting for the stuff to unload, more selfies???

and it was a 2-3hrs shoot this time. ended pretty fast actually so much so that i had time to take more selfies and videos of the place. look at this place!

our photog lumen had a nice bath after the shoot as well while i changed out. i was craving pudding so we all took a cab to yongin to visit all the convenience shop to find my petitzel pudding. 8D

and it started raining. gawwwwd.
but the thing is, lumen had already bathed.... so the moral of the story is always... don't bathe too early...

anyway we stopped by this pub near the interchange and had some snacks, and discovered a really nice cherry blossom soju drink!!!! the color is pretty too!

we only went back home arond 2am??? oh, and we videod bangryung massaging the blankets. so cute!!
but we also discovered that one of the cats, kaka seemed to have gone missing, so namchin went to search for him in the rain!!!

but it turns out that he was hiding on one of the closet all along, and just didn't respond when 00 called. namchin was so angry he scolded all the kitties and kaka looked like he was about to cry and quickly ran to hide in their own room. poor thing...

with all the hoohah... we only managed to sleep at 330am. and we are supposed to get up at 430am... gosh......................................... my final night sighs.

160501 Yongin Sushi and Myeongdong

so after we woke up... we headed for brunch at this sushi place.
for about 15,000 per person... we had like 4 rounds of meal here!!! the pictures below is for a 3person portion btw

ughh they serve that larvae there.

and the last round was the spicy soup and roe rice.. already bursting at this point though

went back to the office, rested for a while and we eventually got out at 4+ to go myeongdong. stopped at my favourite jongno shop to finish spending all my cash on clothes. hurhur. we then moved to myeongdong after that. passed by o lens and bought the brighter purple for 35k won. yay.

unfortunately it seems that my homi-bing is gone! bought some cosmetics and window-shopped a bit but it was already 9+. rested at a bubble tea shop before heading to dinner at 10pm. the thing is, it was already too late and our last bus leaves at 11. so we just went to a random dumpling soup to have mandus.

bleah it was probably one of the worst food i've eaten. am really not a fan of mandus, though namchin is crazy about them. We didn't manage to finish 40% of the mandus on the right.

left the shop around 1040 and waited almost 20mins for the bus to come. it's a good thing there's public wifi cos time passed really fast when you're ally enhancing on dragon blaze. hahah!

oh, and i realised my card didn't have enough money. we dug around for like half an hour before coming up with some coins to pay the fare... oops.
