i love that her last name is leonhart, wife of squall leonhart. haha! she's almost like the female version of squall, except when she goes loony titanish with that maniacal face.
ok i basically didn't do much for this character. CSL was replicating a lot of shingeki's 3D gear and 00 asked if i wanted an extra set, so i said yes and joined SMLJ's team for Annie, one of my favourite character from the series.
As our team debuted on AFA, the gear that was worn was in a battered state so i had to fix the parts again. and i realised 00 took the blades back home, and so my only handmade item is the blade...!
carved from wire cover and spray painted. the carvings were a pain in the ass cos i kept cutting myself accidentally. but spraying is easy~
oh, and i made the skirt wrap too and altered the jacket to a smaller size. the rest were all taobao-ed. awesome taobao~!
ookay so i landed on friday from korea just to come to this shoot, since dear laogong planned it like a year back for the 12 of us. woke up around 5am to do make up before getting out 630-ish at woodleigh. the weather was smelling of rain and it drizzled a bit, but to our great surprise, it didn't rain at all at woodleigh. the weather forecast predicted all wrongly. hah! lucky!
or maybe it's because of jonathan's cute weather doll that brought the luck?
in fact because of the rain, the weather was breezy and cooling, too awesome to be true! it was a blessing for the team as our jackets were thick and the 3D gear a pain to move around in. we started with open area shots, then individual, then forest team shots, individual and finally casual-no-gear-shots. annie is ready! (mwahah MTXX is such a great app)

and much thanks to val, my nv er and our awesome helper! she helped correct our pose, took care of our wigs and expressions and gave us water and tissues. power helper!
we also had a lot of mishaps that day... laogong sprained his poor back. (athen did this comic strip, lol)
sasha fell and poke a hole in her stomach from the tree...
and i opened the toilet door on my toe and flipped my whole toenail T_T was staining the toilet door with blood. thank good ness it happened after the shoot. still super painful now T_T
much appreciation to our hanji (kaien) who helped me bundle up my toe!!
and yes i was still able to go for our group dinner at saizeriya farrer park, where a titan appeared...

we moved to another hotel that was nearer the event at YWCA Fort Canning Lodge, which 00 thought was a hotel for women, as YWCA = Young Women's Christian Association. lol. thankfully we saw guys inside.
it was about $120/night and included a pretty good buffet breakfast, with a large area and near the city centre. best hotel in SG we've stayed at so far at a reasonable price! unfortunately we couldn't open the windows cos it was under construction outside so we almost died of spray paint again indoors.
went to try out Food For Thought near the National Museum, since we were in the area. There wasn't any pictures on the menu, so it was pretty hard to decide what to eat. turns out not too bad, though i think my mom could have cooked the same thing at less than 30% the price.
visited the event hall for a while and it was packed like crazy. think our shingeki prop is gonna break the next day.
on day 2, we had a good buffet breakfast (which 00 also agreed was one of the best in SG hotels) - even the pao was way better - then took a taxi to the event area.

and finally i'm decked up! after weeks of hard work and paint smelling x.x i took like an hour to put on the lens i got from batam, and vic had to squeeze it in for me. my make up was all gone by then and vic kindly redid them for me. horrors of horrors.

didn't see my friend but i saw mira's pictures on fb with the costume of the drawings i was working on. nice!
unfortunately, 00 didn't have another alternative to his flight time and had to leave that night. so we had a quick dinner at burger king as 00 was dying to try the pepper beef and hurried back to the hotel. we cleaned up the room and i had some time to help 00 cut his hair, before we boarded the bus to changi yet again.
no turning back this time... 00 was really gone. but i really appreciated his 1 wk extension though i didn't have much time with him due to work. T_T
and i took the taxi back to the hotel for the last night stay, and had a lonely breakfast before going to work...
sighs. by the way, never take taxis before 8pm. i had a whopping $40+ on my count back home to woodlands. gg.
and here comes the shoot!!! we woke up and prepared ourselves around 11 plus, and reached the place at 12-1pm. woah. we really need to be faster next time. =_= not to mention we forgot things. again. it's a tradition, you know, you always absolutely have to forget something. i couldn't ready myself too because part of my armour needed reparation and we didn't have the necessary tools. so romeo2 went back to get/buy the things for us... and when he was back we were still missing things. owwwwwwwww.
i must say.. this is the first time i'm doing a shoot with so many helpers. there's like 4-5photogs and 3-4 helpers dedicated to each cosplayer. it was crazy. it was embarrassing. but it made things so much easier. i often thought of the other shoots i had where it was just me and 2 photogs. painful. i'm glad that the League of CNPH Helpers are around!!!! thanks so much!!!!
oooh and d-man wasn't cosing because he thinks that 00 is better looking
and should do garen. of cos i agree! but i also thought d-man should
cos since he was missing a chance at this awesome location.

special thanks to my jagiya for coming to help!!! you make the whole korean translation so much easier!! i'm still such a noob at the language T_____T to give a little background since i haven't blogged about FQ, she was the only korean amongst the filipinos at the last FQ i went to, and we hit it off right away. that night, she was my lovely dance partner. she's so cute!!!! :3 it was love at first sight!!! when she came over, the koreans really believed that she was my other half. well, technically right!!! i wish i could kidnap you back to singapore!!!! :<<<<< oh and because she's so young (well, much less than 20), she calls the guys samchon (uncle). so cute. *_*
and after gobbling our lunch, we had a little group picture in the room~~ this is the 'pogi' (i'm so good-looking in tagalog) pose.
we went to have dinner at this neat little pub and we ordered almost everything that was available in the menu. this is just 2/3 of what we ate. not that much, actually.
i bought like 8 bottles of all the mudshake i could grab, for tonight's party!!! but before that, a nice 1.5hours of full body massage with chen, while the guys talked about some Serious Business. wonder what it is. it was already about 330am by the time we were done, but we still went to buy more beers and stuff to continue the night.
Day 2
It's the event!! we were supposed to get out and gather at 10... but.. but...
while waiting, romeo got bored...
so we dillied and dallied till... 1130. and finally reached the place at 1230. it was supposed to be a 10mins drive away but well, manila jam =_=|||
in our rocky journey we tried to take some pictures hurhur
ta-sem keeps saying my make-up is too thick. it is not!! and jeez, can 00 stop looking so good *w* -melts- my dear sister chen looks awesome as well!! =3= hello 大美女
at first we thought we had to share the resting place with the rest of the world and was shocked to find girls changing publicly. and guess what, they brought the wrong suitcase so kayle's armour wasn't in... so the guys went back to the hotel to retrieve it while the rest of us waited.
thank goodness we got moved to a private area. phew! it was a kitchen space just next to the gaming area.
ohohoh you did see that awesome horse armour thingy, hecarim. it looked so much like the thailand one that visited us. phwooooar.
ta-sem took my phone to take some pictures of the crazy event. it was like choke full of people and i think it's probably 90% guys. wow.

poor chen had to be stuck at a corner after she has her armour on. and hagrid looked like he got trapped as well.
i think i was the most at ease xD even had help from 00 putting on my shoulder armour >.< aweoooooooo. actually i didn't really need help but i gladly accept. hohohohhoho. then i went around taking photos~~~
here's our dear romeo1, leader of CNPH. poor guy went crazy over all our luggage, missing items, adapting to what everyone wants, running here and there to get things etc. ooops think he must have breathed a sigh of relief when we went home.
i kept thinking why my head was all furry... it's actually chen's wings. haha.
here's romeo2/quakey. i really like how he can be so professional and so funny when times need him to be!!! most of the time he's just HILARIOUS. like really, you gotta witness this guy in person man.

uh ho. he's awake!! so dangerous... he might look dangerous but he's really so mild. heehee. and i think he slept for as long as i can remember till we needed to move. aiyoh. oh did i mention he really eats A LOT. 00 kept saying because d-man kept pulling 00 to go eat, they failed at dieting in the end. lol. diet will start when they return!
and here's 00, the leader of the awesome CSL!! my all-time inspiration, 사랑 and idol!!! i'd have stopped cosplaying 2 years ago if it weren't for you. thank you for bringing so much excitement and fun in my life, and for this crazy invitation!!!
kyungmin had to go around helping everyone and only managed to put on his armour last. i didn't get to take any with him... so busy!!!! and seems like 00 decided to take his Mordekaiser after all and eventually managed to finish off and put it on. so here's Mordekaiser!! i stuck the linings on his leg the day before... wheee! but poor 00, he was really dying inside and couldn't move as much (as me, dooh). thank goodness he had a lot of fanboys surrounding and helping him. CNPH helpers rock...!
ooh special mention to leny, who the guys went totally crazy after and invited her to our shoot the next day. guys, don't be too jealous because she likes me eh heh. *protects leny from the guys* she's so cute!!!! aweeeeeeee

i think the filipino crowd is really awesome. they gave so much encouragement and cheers, even when our mordekaiser broke down. you could hear the chanting at the end!!! love you guys!!!

after we returned to the hotel we sort of nua-ed around and i helped shift some things back to 00's room. for someone who had probably 2hours of sleep everyday for the few days before he came, he sure was taking it well. thought i could make him go to sleep but i failed! exited after ta-sem came.
after returning to my room, me and chen were too excited and we couldn't really sleep so chen suggested that we should do mask. then she wanted to visit the boys' room, and it seemed like only 00 was awake, and we went over in our ghastly mask form. to be fair, we made 00 do the mask as well hahahahahah!!!! it was totally hilarious. 趁机bua我偶像的脸 hurhur. think chen and 00 talked till 3-4am while i slept, since i could barely catch what they were saying 70% of the time. although i did catch a little of the more important parts ._. oooh the pore cleansing faceshop mask that we used is awesome! it made my face all smooth and sparkling *_*
