170101 No Brand Shop

on the final day of 2016, i celebrated with 00 by going to the pancake place we went to like a few years ago~

the place is so awesome we totally got a room to ourselves. didn't want to leave. and for some reason i lost the photo of my pancake. bleahs. we had makgolli too. it was nice to drink with dear alone (",) he is getting weak to alcohol, one makgolli fried him like an octopus.

the next day we hung out with JH. went to giheung for this awesome tofu jjige with lots of side dishes, each set is less than 8000 won.

feeling full, but there's always room for desserts? just nearby was a TO the DIFFERENT cafe, which features desserts from over 32 (or 36?) different countries. yum! it is said that eki likes the cafe so much she bought every single thing they have there to test.

after that we took a trip to NO BRAND SHOP! because everything is cheap when there's no brand. wait, isn't NO BRAND a sort of brand in itself? the label 'NO BRAND' is a brand right?! whatever.

neat cafeteria at the end of your shopping haul. but you need to pay for the disposable cups to get the free coffee. nice play at creating a 'free' illusion.

went back home after the trip.

btw we passed by baskin robbins. recognise this cake from goblin? i so want to try it, but the weather is really not appropriate.

161126 Ragnarok Event

aaaand i'm attending the first work event for ragnarok with our 2 stars - pion and eki~ wheeeee.

such honor with the both.

event~

shot a live video here as well on csl's facebook. not too good at live broadcast but if you're interested in how the event look, do click and have a look!

the event finished in like 2hrs or so, and there was a huge buffet table for all the guests and us. a pity there was so much food that we can't even finish 80% of it.... woah...

after buffet, the team went to a nearby food court for coffee~

there's like 8 of us, so this isn't that much.. eh. hahaha. i like that yogurt ice cream and the latte! so nice!

161119 Dessert 39

autumn hasn't yet ended!!! all the pretty maple falling..!!

there's a new guksu restaurant in the area so we decided to have a bowl while waiting for JH to pick us up for lunch. the mian xian is only 4k won, and the rice ball is 600 won. it's a pretty decent meal!

when JH came, he told us there was a big uniqlo sale so i decided to stock up on some innerwears. afterwards, we went to have udon at giheung (same place as the tofu jjige we had previously)

wanted to have red velvet, and we end up visiting dessert 39, which is a pretty famous cafe that's just around the corner!

it's supposed to sell desserts from 39 countries, hence the name. it is also said that eki loves the care so much she bought every single item here to eat. woah.

but of cos our stomach is not as vast... so we just got 2 cakes and drinks. that's the oreo cheese cake, the famous custard roll and red velvet cake. the drink i had was some coconut latte. it just sounded exotic so i had to try it.

would like to come back again to try out the rest of the stuff!

at home, i decided to try out the innisfree mask which i customised. you just select a base and 2 ingredients (which caters to your skin problems), then stir it together to apply. honestly it's a bit messy and inconvenient since you need to buy mixing and application brushes (i didn't, i just used chopsticks lol since i knew i probably wouldn't buy it again). the smell and after effect is pretty soothing though. but yeah, we looked like we rolled in some mud. lolol. it's also messy to clean off. haha.

161118 Hongdae

for breakfast today - dunkin!! somehow they gave free pepsi for their hot bread selection before 12pm if you use their app. not that pepsi goes well with it... and anyway there was a promotion for craftholic foot mat if you buy above 10,000 won, so we ordered an extra drink to top it off. hurhur.

stopped by the office for a while, then decided to visit hongdae for dinner. was walking all over the place to look for it, and passed by kiss the tiramisu so couldn't help but get one.

last time i visited hongdae with mong, she brought me to a very nice place to eat - the prawn ganjjang! i missed that, as well as the choco cafe that pion brought us to. so i'm revisiting for all these!! fortunately, there wasn't much queue, and there was actually a second place that seats more guests, so we got seated pretty fast.

my greedy mr k decided to order 3 sets of food............................ he says that since this place is famous and he's hungry, why not.........

so here's the best-selling prawn ganjjang set!

the salmon set

and finally the crab meat eggy set. there was no place to put any side dish so it just came as a single order.

i can only say, please only order 1 set each if you're coming next time... i was bursting already and had no space for chocolate after that..

BUT STILL WE WENT ANYWAY.

and we ordered the fondant and hot choco. hahahah. it was drizzling anyway so we decided to stay in a while.

but gosh i feel like i gained 2kg from all the eating today =_= still, it was all good food!!! still, good food can't be eaten in excess, really........

161013 Hongdae

met up with Mong today at hongdae! yay! she was telling me about this prawn set (se-u ganjjang) at hongdae that she wanted to try out, which was featured on a local show. i was late for like 30mins... and reached around 12. oops... but at least we found the place! it opened around 12pm and there was already a queue!

we waited for almost an hour before we got in, and our meal came almost immediately (they prepped it while we were in the queue).

the prawns are raw and i saw mong ate up every single part. not even the shell or the head was left, like mine:

we ate everything in a mere 15mins?! there's persimmon given as a side fruit. love the entire meal!!!!!!

and of cos, what is meal without dessert? the chocolate cafe was just a minute walk away from this place, the one i last went with pion and the rest.

BUT IT WAS CLOSED,

on a day that's not a holiday, that was just like any other day. T______________T

luckily, Mong said there's a #2 shop that sells cheesecake, opened by the same person. so we walked over to check. it wasn't opened till past 2pm, so we walked around first before coming back again. chanced by a gacha shop and a cafe that makes rings. there's all sorts of cafes in hongdae where you can make jewelry, dolls etc...

well anyway we went back to the cheesecake place and there was this parfait thingy i wanted to try but they had no ice cream that day. NO ICE CREAM. i can't image cafe without ice cream. zzzz. ended up just ordering tea and a cheesecake souffle. *sniffs*

took a photo this time! Mong dressed up for me and her hair was looking nice! must take pic! haha.

thankfully, there was a bunch of other things along the streets of hongdae, and there was this really neat tiramisu ice cream!! we just saw people eating while walking and decided we'll look for it. it pays to have nice packaging as free advertisement...

we shared a cone! and i took the plastic glass home. it was so delicious!!

after walking around a bit, we passed by a castella shop that has a queue but it was closed... it seemed like shop will only open around 4pm?! since it was just 5mins away from 4pm... we joined in too...

bought 2 and gave one to Mong! i forgot to take a pic of how the castella looked like but i distributed it to the csl people and it disappeared in the hungry depths of myeong seon...

then we went home and i had dinner with 00. continuously eating for the whole day... went to a pizza place where we chanced upon previously after eating at misoya. was kinda craving for honey pizza, and it was there!

honey gorgonzola~

and hamburg!

they all tasted so awesome..... but it was kinda pricey for yongin so we probably wouldn't be back again, since olive offers something similar at 30% lower price.

we had desserts at paik's coffee. tbh i was seriously super full but i wanted to sit and nua somewhere at a coffee shop. i think i picked the wrong combi though. pumpkin soup was too filling and it was too cold for ice cream too =_=

at least dear enjoyed everything!
