161215 MG Dinner Jayeon

went to gangnam for a post-project team outing! ate at jayeon byeolguk, a korean buffet. came here before previously after monster super league shoot, and coming here again for monster super league outing. lol.

since we came here twice, i didn't bother to take any photos. we visited paris baguette for tea afterwards, since all other cafes were full of people. look at the cute cups!

after that it was time for shuma to go but we couldn't help but stop at a popular arcade there.

it turns out we have someone good at DDR!!! our photog giro! look at him! i can't even do 10% of that... T_T

guess who is singing alone in the solo karaoke box... haha.

we played a game where you have to spot the difference between 2 given pictures, and also whack a mole! lost by a margin....T_T

it was almost 12 when we got ready to leave.. hehe t'was fun~!

161213 Gangnam JS Kitchen

so... i'm kinda here again. we randomly chose a place for dinner and the ambience is actually pretty awesome, with cubicle seating. it's called JS kitchen.

ordered prawn pasta and crab risotto

unfortunately it's pretty pricey, at over 17k won for the dishes each, and you actually get tired of the taste after a while. bad choice of the day, and might not come back again.

there was a waffle cafe nearby and as we were too full, i refrained from eating further and only got a drink to share. seeing as how everyone was having waffles, i'll definitely come back again to have one next time!!!

in any case we parted ways as mr kong needed to meet someone else, and gave me his card to do some shopping. i bought like 4 tops and a muffler for less than 60k won. so proud of myself.

while resting, a random manhwa artist approached me and chatted, and asked if i could meet her another day at her studio. she was a trainee, and we exchanged numbers since it was impossible for me to meet her then (at like 10pm+???). she contacted me but i was advised not to pick her calls or message her, so i flew her kite on sunday for the gangnam meeting. everyone says that it was suspicious that she didn't even know what is facebook and doesn't use social media (a cartoonist ought to use this for marketing purpose at least), and she was using a super ancient flip phone model, so even if she does look decent, i should not meet her.

i'm so sorry dear jisu if you happen to see this, but i don't want to be kidnapped randomly too!!

161129 Gangnam

another trip to gangnam, and it won't be the last..... hahaha. met up with pion and ark, and we had cheese galbi here.

also managed to have red velvet cocoa at coffee bean! so glad it's still available here. after that we stopped at shake shack to see what's the deal there. it's a burger franchise from US, and apparently the queue is crazy...

menu for whoever's interested. 

and then we got home. had to do my posting and dear waited for me like that.

he was snoring.. i swear he can sleep in all kinds of positions. =_=

161127 VR Cafe

so we're meeting mr roy at gangnam, one of dear's childhood friends. while walking around gangnam, we chanced by a gundam base and went to take a look~! such gorgeous unicorn!!!!!

roy came soon after, and he brought us to VR cafe. on the way there, we saw tailor of wolgyesu film casting!

haven't started on the show so not too sure what is happening.

anyway back to VR cafe! seems it's trending in a lot of places.

after that riha came over and we went for dinner at a random tonkatsu place. ordered cheesy tonkatsu and the rose sauce pasta. for a random restaurant, it sure tastes great!

161126 Ragnarok Event

aaaand i'm attending the first work event for ragnarok with our 2 stars - pion and eki~ wheeeee.

the event finished in like 2hrs or so, and there was a huge buffet table for all the guests and us. a pity there was so much food that we can't even finish 80% of it.... woah...

after buffet, the team went to a nearby food court for coffee~

there's like 8 of us, so this isn't that much.. eh. hahaha. i like that yogurt ice cream and the latte! so nice!

161117 Gangnam Waffle

there isn't a lot of western breakfast in korea actually, or in yongin, so when i was craving for some waffles, dear checked out some places and we headed to gangnam.

there was a foodcourt-like place there selling lots of delicious stuff! it's almost like a food republic korea version. there was also the crazy devil shake we had at hongdae previously.

but of cos since we came for waffles.. shall not be distracted.

here's our waffle! you can pick 2 types of cream to go with it. i don't like creams, so the matcha and vanilla scoops go to mr k and that choco chip ice cream is mineeeee. there's also an american top up at just 1k won (i think). i ordered hot yuzu since the weather is so collddddd.

we also visited the kakaoshop at exit 10, before getting home. there's a cafe on the top floor and look at the cute cupcakes! doesn't appeal to me though, too much cream hahah.

161007 Kakao Friends

Jeonghoon came over at 1030am to pick me up to the office, so I started the day pretty early. We went for lunch around 1.30pm at this Yukgejang place called Ihwawon, which is pretty nice! The soup is spicy yet sweet at the same time, and the soup portion is big! Love the lean beef inside as well. 

also stopped by mac drive thru to get food for the other guys, and i had salted caramel mcflurry. love the bits inside.

Went back to slog till 430pm, then we all headed to Gangnam to pass Pion her costume for the shoot tomorrow. 00 got some chun cui milk tea for me~~ <3 span="">

made the wrong choice of taking a taxi. racked up a high amount, and the travel time wasn't much different...

After that we looked around Gangnam and wanted to have dinner there. had a little argument because 00 seem frustrated at something and i didn't want to hang out with an angry man. in the end, we stuck around gangnam and wanted to look for the cheesy octopus place we had before, which was no longer there T_T

just right in front of the bus stop, there was a newly set up Katalk shop there so we bought some cute little figurines that can be placed on mugs. The shop is so popular locally!

After that Jeonghoon came separately to pick us up to Yongin, and we stopped halfway at a random area for dinner. There was a supposedly nice ramen there, but it was closed (almost close to 10pm by then). Nearby was a tofu jjige shop so we just went in. Turns out it was a pretty good find! Look at the side dishes… fish!

There was a variety of tofu jjige soup, with ham/cheese, seafood, curry, intestines, etc. Me and Mr K shared a curry version while Jeonghoon and Ark had Gobchang (intestines). 

It came with stonepot red bean rice, and you can pour Bori-tea in the leftover rice to make Nurungi. 

Very interesting meal! 

Then it was time to get home. Last day till Singapore costume is complete – jiayou!
