161101 Jiaen House

haven't seen my little one in so long so was glad to have a look at how she was growing before i fly for bangkok~ and sun bian have dinner!

aside from talking A LOT! she's so much cuter and livelier and prettier and she is so FUNNY... kept insisting on wearing this hat..

her expressions are also laughable. lol.

and phone addict like all kids, though she can't access it much due to her awesome mom.

when shall i see her again!

160814 SG Zoo

i'm going to the zooo zooo zoo will you come too tooo tooo

first thing after i'm back from jp - catch up time with my lovely little lady! woke up at like 9am as i was meeting the koh family at 10. rush rush!

she's grown so much and i can't carry her for more than 5mins now, at a whopping 18kg. and such a pretty young lady she is <333333 also="" and="" fab="" family="" getting="" her="" is="" lovely="" mom.="" p="" prettier="" slimmer="" vivian="">

we didn't visit a lot of things, just started with the tiger (who isn't there), the turtles, polar bear, monkeys and watched 2 show - rainforest fights back and the elephant show. right at the entrance after the otters were the big rocky crocos.

jiaen was feeling lazy and sat in the pram most of the morning.

took a bus back to woodlands (926 only took like less than 15mins), and i finally got to eat my red velvet mcflurry! jiaen visited our house for a while, before leaving for her noon nap, as she started to whine.

it was good to see her again after so looooonggggg. glad she remembers me T_T

150628 Arrival in korea

in the morning i went for a quick breakfast with my lovely jiaen before i'm due for my 1 mth break, and visited her preschool. it was a pretty nice place and she didn't want to leave! after all the cryings daily when leaving for school and throwing tantrums... now she's liking it too much. haha. it's a good thing i guess!
stopped by my house to let her try on the little dress i made, which turned out to be too small so i had to use my afternoon to make a new one for her, since i couldn't turn up for her birthday, i had to finish my present in advance. godma is so sorry...

around 630pm, sis and jiefu came to pick me and i had a car ride to the airport! finally a comfortable journey for me since i've always taken the public transport and caused nuisance with my huge luggage. not that i cared. bleahs.

arrived at the airport past 7pm, checked in and had time to get bee cheng hiang, alcohol and participate in the lucky draw. turns out my flight was slightly delayed and we only started checking in around 820pm (flight was scheduled to depart at 825pm). it was actually better for me since i need to wait for 3hrs once i reach ho chih min. unfortunately the plane was only delayed for 15mins. oh well, at least i got in last and had the whole row to myself. wheee~~ was surprised the plane is like 90% full but hopefully the trip to kr will be emptier...

and it turns out the flight to kr was 100% occupancy. so much for pining to lay across 3 empty seats. at least there was no one beside me cos the tray was spoilt, and thankfully the stewardess didn't place anyone there eventhough she asked for permission. phew. i was already paranoid and on my n95 mask as this uncle continuously coughed very loudly behind for the whole trip. ughh.

so glad when we touched down, finally get to see my baby again!

jeonghoon drove us back to yongin and we ate at dunkin for breakfast before we got back. there was a new waffle burger and it's gooood!

slept for the whole afternoon before waking up to have beef buldukpeggi for dinner. got to eat honey blossom for dessert too... ahhh my pudding!!! my love!! there's just a few cravings i need to satisfy whenever i'm here:

1) roe rice (al-pab)
2) honey blossom pudding
3) seol-bing (goguma bingsu yummmm)
4) caramel maple syrup corn (a kind of snack)
5) jajjangmyeon
6) honey butter chip (it's so expensive and rare it's a delicacy now...)
7) seolreim ice cream
8) petitzel pudding drink
9) ice persimmon

#1 and #2 are like the die-die must eat on my list. check, check.

so anyway we caught our movie at 7pm after dinner - ted 2. had a short rush before the show looking for stationery shop since 00 wanted to buy brushes that day =_= anyway ted was hilarious but i guess i'm just not very accustomed to a teddy bear spitting vulgarities although that's his drawpoint...?? and i did yawn a couple of times. guess it's not my kinda show, and definitely not 00's - he slept for 70% of the show, jeez.

got back and could play around with my new lg aka phone 00 got (which i exchanged my g3 for!!). love how cute it is, wheee~~~~~~see the cute dancing panel on my screen and on the right, you can take pictures with the avatar. hehe.

Lunar New Year Hanbok

i made a little hanbokh for CNY, for prince KJE to wear. hehe.

the first day she wore this i had to come back to change the skirt to a zip behind cos ribbons were too troublesome and the straps were too long. but she looked cute~! insisted on riding the little bike after we changed her. =_=

can't resist putting on wu mei niang make-up for her. lolll.

150218-20 Lunar New Year

well, so on about the new year. this year my mom's away to taiwan and my dad to malaysia so it's only me and my bro for CNY eve this year. i was invited to reunion dinner with princess KJE's family, but it's too strange for an outsider to join... so i had a homely re-microwaved reunion dinner with my bro instead. hah! he cooked the rice (literally).

the rest was pre-prepared by mom so we just had to heat it up.

in the end i was chided for not attending KJE's reunion dinner cos the MIL apparently prepared a lot of food and an extra seat for me. but vivian took the leftovers to our house and we still ate it over the weekend. heh!

the first day of CNY was spent with vivian's relatives. it's a good experience and i get to hug little baby all day. we talked a little about cosplay because i made the hanbok for KJE, so it sort of got related to my works... but everything else was peaceful. and i got lots of angbao. awesome.

i was being introduced around either as the nanny's daughter or sixuan's sister. hehe. went to vivian's family and then marcus' family. not too bad! ate a lot and took some photos. wheee~

and i get to sleep with baby too. *hugs*

the next day we had breakfast at a macdonald's, then went visiting at vivian's wedding planner house.

around 2pm, my sister came over vivian's house and we had steamboat.

we ate till we all almost burst... and set off to malaysia at 5-6pm to continue eating with my dad.

apparently i got my information wrong and we had to come back to singapore after dinner since dad had to work on saturday. T_T so the whole of my weekend was then spent doing the stockings for Asoka (in previous post), while eating the leftover from vivian's reunion dinner. hurhur.

still a good and productive new year though! i seem to always spend my new year pasting weird things. still remember the last time i did it was for ji wu wang's crown, then the leaves decoration at my house and fishes in my toilet. always need to be productive during cny.... hah.

141122 USS w Koh Family

went to USS with compliments from vivian, with the koh family~!

it threatened to rain so we were using an umbrella. there was some penguin show going and we went to take a look. but JE was scared of them!! there was the leftmost penguin who kept trying to play with JE though. so cute.

we were rejected from taking photos cos photo time was over, but this penguin was nice enough to take with us. thanks so much!!!!
