oh gosh i look so horrible!

moo! i made a mistake! my entire cos is $160, but the scythe is only $100. lols. oh wells!

i removed my scythe ring and replaced it with white wires... but wasn't that satisfied so now i removed it again and wrapped it with white wire and metal wire. looks thicker than the previous one but at least it can twirl and hold up by itself instead of drooping with just white wires.

and then, i tried to thin the bulging areas for my bonesword and repainted those before i left the house for work in the morning.

brr... seriously i haven't a clue what i should go as. on one hand i'm so bloody tempted to take pictures with an expected-be-to-damn-drool-worthy-squall by being appropriately dressed, but on the other hand, i really don't want to do a girl cosplay. bahh.
oh and there's the whole indoor is cooling factor, which means i really should put on more layers (and not waste my yasuaki).

but anyway, whatever the case is i'll be fixing those costumes up and decide later on.

good thing i had leftover metal surfaces for my shoe buckle.



i even tested my new extensions. used brown marker to 'dye' the extra blond hair i cut from ryuuki's wig.



(and yes i always find i look better with half my face. oh well)

happened to be repairing my bone sword on sunday too. carved a completely new one out of maomao's blue foam.



and sanded it with big particled paper. had a furry effect after that.



damn sian. it's so hard to shave somemore. needs lots of patience. perhaps i won't do him after all. (-_-`)

i know i'm damn slow but i decided to do gong gil and went to fix the shoes last friday...





then i attached it to one of my high platforms using black tapes. heh.

used this super hard styling wax called hex.

looks super nice from this pic, but is only so-so (actually sucks) in real life. oh well. since i kept it back in the bag, it might look worse. have to restyle whenever i use.

maomao helped fix my shirogane skull. then spray painted silver on sat. YES workshop re-opened.


and the whole stick repainted gold.

redid my undertaker chain belt as well! previously only used a standard fancy template pendant. since i have the picture now i redid it so it's more accurate.

omg! i think my silver glue and the patterns behind looks damn nice. too bad i have to overspray them T_T




sort of fixed the robe's sleeves as well so it's not so twirly.

spent sunday working on iljimae. nothing much, just sewed zips on the 2 vests and mounted the already done chest plates there.

i was angry at myself because i forgot to bring such a large hat over to frank's house, and i only realised it when i reached redhill.

almost wanted to give up going after all, but i'm glad i persevered in the end. seriously, preparation in the toilet is no fun at all. at least the day was fun.

but at night i'm tossing and turning... only to find i'm full of mistakes again. sighs.

i tried washing my wig once and i got a tangled mess in the end, so i won't try dyeing my wigs.

i think this tutorial is great. will use it to darken my oh-so-bright yasuaki wig. AND avoid tangles.

first i need to get a sharpie.. i guess.
