went to jiyuugaoka with atsu (who was late by half an hour cos he claimed to have taken the train in the opposite direction... iiwake!)

a list of some of the places to visit here

and some of the places i found from the list

this bakery is really meant for your pets

look at the desserts and birthday cakes they have for animals... wow

and here's a place selling all cat-themed products

this is a really neat store! it's like a little home inside and the layout is also as if you're at home. like a showroom, somewhat.

found a nekobukuro there too! (cat cafe)

didn't go in but the kitties are soooo kawaiiii

here's the jiyuugaoka park, looks quite chui

la vita, a venice-themed shopping arcade with 6 stores inside

he is sooo lazy he ends up sitting everywhere. pig.

i like this store's name board

and then we went to sweets forest (the highlight of the day!) for some sweets! jiyuugaoka is famous for their range of desserts.

the inside is sooooo pretty!!

lots of dessert stalls too.
hongkong dessert

waffles

cakes

chocolates

we ate the ice-cream stall at the entrance (didn't know there was so many others inside) where you could customise your ice cream by selecting the base, flavour, topping, etc
my egg tart macha cinnamon apple kinako topping

atsu's chiffon black cherry sauced biscuit

us in the sakura forest!

and there's an autumn part too!

a little fountain at the entrance/exit staircase

and when we headed home, the fund-raising students were still there (since we arrived in the morning, actually). they were in orderely rows and a representative at the front just keeps shouting about how we should help the earthquake (i think) victims and stuff.
